Since we are about 1/4 through the season, I am going to do some number crunching tonight and go over a bunch of stuff. I will make a post sometime later about it.

okay, i havent had any changes in my farm. but i think it has to do with the fact that nothing seems to happen in my farm games cause i dont have a full roster on y farm (can you blame me?).. what do i do? Well for some reason you made the choice to not place any farm players on any lines, so.....

We've had farm re-rates on for 5 seasons now, I don't see why this one should be any different. At least we have the option to somewhat control it now, instead of just on/off. I know we have had them for 5 years and I have hated it every single year! ;D In my view it adds nothing positive to the league and is a negative if guys get rated high enough to effect a JGHL game for no reason at all. I know it likely won't get changed but still nice to be able to express how bad the rerates are for the league.

farm re-rates are bad for the league??? because players dont actually improve during the season while playing in the AHL at all eh?? that makes no sense

I totally agree.... farm rerates have shown that they generally improve in a random matter. In my eyes, the farm serves the purpose of keeping the prospects tha tare almost ready to play for your pro team and the washed up and overpriced dudes that play in your franchise.... thats it. not for jeff farkas (leaf fans will remember him) to come up and be sidney crosby

While we're at it we should just delete ALL the rules and start from scratch

While we're at it we should just delete ALL the rules and start from scratch LOL Guess some think that farm ratings only go up Adam. At times an unservceable player may become a bit more serviceable. If one thinks that sending a high rated player to the farm, that he will become a super star or because he is overpaid, need to think again. That is a huge risk. I think the former owner of Morris [ last season] can verify that, since i picked him up off the un-assigned list after his ratings went so low he became dumpable. I sent him to my farm and his ratings went back to normal at which point he was brought back up.

Over the past seasons, I may have had one or two guys go up a pt of two, nothing big..Although I remember two seasons ago playing a Washington team who had 3 or 4 players who went up 4 or 5 pts...I mean it just made a middle of the road team and power in the east, so if it is set to make some teams farm player go up like that, I am dead set against it being adjusted much.....
You play with what you drafted, traded or p/u via FA and the rating they have that year, not be able to get 4 or 5 guys get 4 or 5 rating point for some weird reason on farm.
That Washington thing may have been just that time with that many, but it was one too many in my opinion. I always had a hard enough time beating that shit head Brodeur then add up those bumps and it was doubly tough................
