That one hurts. The tough part is that I think I'm getting almost everything out of my team! The only guy that is under achieving is Horton. Detriot is just too deep... I have a tough enough time matching up against his best line, but when his 2nd and 3rd lines are almost as good as his 1st... well, it just makes things difficult, especially since my team relies very heavily on 2 or 3 players.

0 shots in the first period...we were lucky to come out of it only down 1-0... powerplay came through big time, but wow.. we still need to do some big work here.. gotta take care of business at home...

Oilers could be the surprise team of this season. I can easily see that team going all the way. One of the most complete rosters i ever seen, great job Darren!

That was a really close game, Jake. It could have easily gone either way, especially with that mess in the 3rd period. We went back to basics for that game and were able to keep shots down and get the PP unit back on track. As we're up 3-1 I really can't complain, but it sure would be nice for Spezza to get his first point of the playoffs Good luck today!

Wow Ray! Using all those oldtimers on the farm! LOL I can see bringing down young guys who played and are of the age but those senior citizens.....guess you want to win big time. Heck I can bring down my whole team too, but at least they are not going on 40...... LOLOLOL

LOLOLOL LOL I wish I could have brought more down, but I can't, you have to keep 20 up, so with a 35 man roster I can only use 15 below, thought it would be fun to try to over-come being down 3-1 in the series. ;D I want the Memorial Cup. A few of my oldtimers are FA - UFA's, we'll be a bit younger next season, depending on our bidding tactics, not lookin to bid a whole lot next season, maybe a Goalie and some trade bait, there will be lots of talent available.

Congrats Adam! That was a great game. You had a 2 goal lead going into the third, but two quick early goals tied the game up. We swapped goals again and went into OT, then Babchuk wins it.
I was hoping to take it to 6-7 games, but in the end your team was just too good. At least I kept most of the games close.
I hope revenge is sweet, and our rivalry is as strong as ever. I hope we meet again next year.

Calg., with 3 straight Cups to his credit, will face his 1st elimination game today, since the 05-06 season. Quite a run and very hard to achieve, as we well know. Great run Chris, Good Luck today, buddy, it's not over til it's over. Got to hand it to Darren as well, to put Chris on the ropes. Both have worked hard drafting trading over the last few years, one of them will face a tough tough Detroit team, also the product of their intense and wise GM, who also worked his tail off to build, whom I think is the new Sheriff in Town. Great work guys, the East is starting to catch up with you guys, about a season or 2 away yet. Congrads to Shawn and Greg, to make it to the Conference finals, one of you will get a nice Shiney new Trophy for your clubhouse. Good Luck guys!!
