Agreed! But i think it might have something to do with the 20 trades made in the last 2 weeks (since mar 21). We have had a ton of movement this year, really loaded up a few teams, which probably suppressed the market for the 4th - 8th seeds in both conferences trying to improve.

I tried to get something done, but there are several GMs that just do not seem to answer PMs. It is getting really old.

I can't speak for others, but I know the Rangers are in the process of moving to another state.

Definitely an uneventful day, but like Monty said a ton of deals were already done earlier. I figured we might see one or two deals, but not really surprised there wasn't any action.

I can only speak for myself but I tried to get my deals done before deadline day... sometimes if you leave it for last minute, you end up getting fleeced even in rental pickups.. i wasnt going to take that chance.
As for GM's not answering their PM's...i have to agree that that's something I've noticed too and i just dont understand it... the least you can do is give someone a response... it's not by fluke that the majority of my deals are with the same GM's... mainly becuase their rather responsive, enjoy the art of negotiating a deal and i must say some GM's here are quite innovative in their solutions. Others.... just dont care and if you're asking about someone they dont wanna deal... they just dont even find the need to get back to you.

Great playoff so far guys, but us cellar dwellers are getting a little bored and restless. Just wanted to touch base and let everyone know I'll be moving one or maybe even two of these Number 1 NHL goaltenders before the start of the season:
Jaroslav Halak Jonathan Quick Semyon Varlamov
Probably looking to move them in the order listed, and the price would probably be a little more for Varlamov than it would be for Quick and a little more for Quick than it would be for Jaro.
Open to offers or expressions of interest now and willing to make a handshake deal to be finalized when trading opens.
But really just wanted to do something. Canucks ownership has promised the faithful that the club will be battling for a playoff spot this season, so the pressure's on. Can't wait for the off-season.
Good luck to the remaining playoff teams.

The Canucks' Ownership has decided it's time to make the playoffs in 2014-2015 after three years of missing the playoffs.
With this in mind, GM Joe MacDonald is shopping the following assets:
G Jonathan Quick C Ryan Kesler VAN #1 pick in the 2014 JGHL Entry Draft (Likely Top 4 - 80% chance, 11% chance of being Number 1 - certain Top 5)
Ideally, looking for good, young NHL ready players, but would accept picks or prospects for Kesler and Quick.
Of course, if something else interests you, send me an expression of interest or an offer and we can talk. Always willing to make a hnadshake deal now and finalize it when trading opens.

We've been quiet as of late but it's time to make some moves.
Everyone is available - let's see what offers are out there - I do NOT want older veterans(33+) with high salary
Thanks!
