Hey look another sub 75% save game from MAF. Might as well just start the game with the net empty.

And ANOTHER. Outshot Rangers 40-25 and MAF gives up 4 in 18 shots. Why does an 78 OV goalie out-perform an 82 OV goalie so handily while being outshot over 2-1? This is beyond the level of fucking stupid.

This is beyond the level of fucking stupid. Got to be the 10 mil contract, all that money has gone to the Flowers' head... He has never been paid that much, not even in the NHL, so he is all confused and forgot how to stop a puck or even a beach ball by the looks of it.

Well, he won't play another game. Bringing up my 55 OV goalie to play the rest of the year. Can't win when I try, so might as well stop trying.

I feel like I should know this, but I've either never known or have forgotten...
Hypothetical: You have less than $500k against the salary cap left (and no "extras" on your pro roster)
Scenario A You get an injured player *Does that player count against the cap in the sim while he is out? (That is, can you then bring up a player from the farm to replace him and not go over the cap?)
Scenario B You have a player that gets suspended... *Does that player count against the cap in the sim while he is out?
(Think I've always left a bit of cusion on my cap space just in case, but I was contemplating a move that would result in less than $500K cap room and thus unable to bring up a player to fill out roster if need be.)

I donβt think the sim would run until you could get under the cap in either scenario. Injured / suspended players still count against the cap.
It would be really cool if the sim could calculate the cap like the NHL does though (like if you are over a bit at the beginning of the season you can make up for it by being under a bit at the end of the season). Would probably open up trading a bit.

This is my life right now. Jon can correct me if wrong but I believe there's no cap relief in any situation injury/suspension. If you have less than 500k and call up a 500k player then you better hope you have more than 450k to make him fit (ie 450k in cap-500k call up+50k would be salary on the farm=cap compliant)

Gotta play my 3rd in a row tom.. With all that OT, my team is real tired, and that opens the door for injuries. Guess I'll sweat it out. Pretty happy with the win of coarse.

Good litmus test against the top dog in the west. Incoming jinx but 27-3-3 is just crazy and this roster is clicking on an unprecedented level. Cup or not I'm looking forward to adding some new hardware this season to the clubhouse page.
