I think your team is looking pretty good with the playoff race Ray PS does anyone know what goes into the moral rating? My team has been in the 60s and very low 70s the whole season (even during my ten game win streak). Then theres Florida, who has 1 more point than me, who has a 99 moral, the Flyers who are at 86... etc. There are several other examples! I'm thinking it has to do with the number of highly experienced/good leader ratings on the team. Yeah I wish I knew and whether it affects teams. Probably does not because my team is at a 9 and this after going 7-0-3 in last 10 games. I guess their morale is down for not making playoffs. LOL Guess you guys forgot I asked Jon about that last season. He said it really doesn't much affect the games at all, and is mostly just one of the cool features of this software, mostly cosmetic, I'm not sure how it is calculated, which is what Jake was askin. The only thing new, that affects the games, I would say is your strategy (slider), seems like if you don't have a good game plan conducive to your team, as well as your opponents strategy - you could lose to anyone, gives us a bit more realism, and is probably one of the reasons Jon wants you guys to pay more attention to your line-ups. I been experimenting with it alot this season, and pretty much have stuck for the most part with what seems to work best for me against most teams, not all, Dallas has been a tough nut for me to crack all season, and Monday, I may change my game plan. If I make the playoffs. I'll be foolin with it more to try and out-smart my opponents as to their sliders. LOL

beaten by vinny, what a poetic loss... and a costly one with the last 3 games against calgary, pitt and sj.. real good test coming up for the team. should give me a good idea about my chances going into playoffs

Got our 50th win today. This is the teams 4th 50 win year It should be an interesting last few games. Zach Parise is chasing the teams scoring record. He needs 3 points in the last 3 games to tie it. With Lidstrom gone, Parise has easily been the teams MVP. He also has an outside shot at the goal record, but he needs 4 goals in 3 games to tie it, so it's not looking good for him. The deadline additions have fit in well. Really miss Lidstrom though. Heres a few comments on them: Zajac has been fantastic, my PK has gotten much better and he's been producing with 15 points in 17 games. Heatley's production has also gone from 0.6ppg to almost 1 ppg while playing with Zajac. Legwand has been good too, bring in unexpected offense with 9 points in 16 games, and providing extra depth at center. Eric Staal was getting tired playing at ES, on the PP, and on the PK, before Legwand came around. Staal's production has also gone up, maybe because of the rest. When Quincey came in I worried about his defensive play, but he's been solid. Picking up 8 points in 16 games and he's a good +6. His PA makes him handy on the PP. Hamhuis replaced Lidstrom on the top pairing, so he had big shoes to fill, and he has been very good. He's put up 10 points in 14 games (after putting up 13 points in 67 on a stacked Calgary D). Ballard stepped in on the second pairing to replace Kuba. He hasn't put up very big numbers, with only 4 points in 17 games, but he has been a reliable defenseman.

Was anyone curious why I didn't clinch, when Carolina lost to pitts.? At present if he wins out and I lose my last 2 we tie but i would have more wins. The 1st tie breaker is wins, so I asked Jon what the hey. Jon looked into it from the creator. Creators reply: If two teams have the possibility to have the same number of points, it will not look for the total wins. Instead, it will simply give the info that both teams can still make the playoffs. So I guess I'm in for my 6th season in a row, just have to wait for it to be official.

NJ out of playoffs! After a record breaking 19 OTL, NJ is out of playoffs. NJ will be looking for some specialist who can score in shootouts in off-season. If we had a couple and won half od those shootouts, NJ would be in 6th place. So FA, we will be looking for players who are good shhotout guys no doubt.
Time to hit the golf course again! With all that is going on the the office of GM Ron G, it may be a blessing.

Hope you rest them for our Sat. matchup, I want that 6th seed, looks like 3rd seed still up for grabs though, still wonderin who we will play in the 1st rd. Awesome line-up for next season Jim. I drafted Howard about 4yrs. ago, wish I had kept him, gave up on him. I've since become alittle more patient with my young guys.

Im still on the fence about our matchup this weekend - might have to challenge you for #6 is possible. Doesnt matter who we play - top 3 are all killer teams

Bullshit. How are Phil and the Isles not pissed that Buffalo puts Helenius and his 53 OV in net against Carolina while Roloson is a healthy scratch? That's bush. If there is any justice, the Avs will win the lottery anyway.
How is it that we vote on trades, but bullshit like this is fine?
