It's gonna be a long season in Philly, unless we can find a way to get the 1st line goin. There is no excuse for goin 04- 9PP's. Good game from a physical Jersey team, Mason playin well for them. Budaj 2 losses in 2 starts due to no goal support, he has played well and should have more to show for it. Rumor has it Malone and Gabby could be playin somewhere else soon, stay tuned.

Wow. For all the shit Detroit took from many parties, myself definitely included, it looks like he knew what he was doing. Whatever we may think of some of the trades, his record speaks for itself. Nice start to the season Detroit!

Vokoun has been playing amazing. I guess that happens when he's almost rated perfectly... (99 in many important ratings).

Nice start to the season Detroit! Thanks ;D Still a few things to work on, like the PP unit and getting Quincey more involved in the scoring, but obviously very happy with the start!

I know, wasn't taking anything away from Cody's success. Detriots defense has been playing fantastic also. He's got a plethora of 2-way forwards and all of his defensemen, except Quincy, are great in their own end.

Huge win over one the leagues best today Definitely a good game! We let up way too many shots to start, but tightened it up for the rest of the game. Unfortunately we weren't able to recover enough. Also saw the first minor dent in Vokoun today. We look forward to the re-match two weeks from now with our shiny new toy ;D

What a debut for Alfie! PP has been coming on a bit lately, still can't seem to get Quincey involved

As the Flyers took to the ice, they were greeted with booo's and jeers, for the trading of fan favorites Marian Gaborik and Ryan Malone to the Leafs in a 8 player swap, but those boo's turned to cheers 6 seconds into the game when Milan Michalek buried the puck in the net on the games 1st shot, to quickly take the 1 goal lead, and the only one they would need in the 4-0 shutout
Not a bad Debut from Philly's 3 newest members, to the starting cast, to help end the 2 game skid.
Bergeron 1G -1A +2 Michalek 1G +1 O'Sullivan 1A +1

wow... um, so Carolina shalacked us last night.... We're not in panic mode, but we understand the seriousness of getting a good start, and with two of the best in the East coming up in Montreal and Pittsburgh, expect changes to the Panther lineup and strategy... Our defensive forwards are having a horrible time trying to play run and gun hockey..

Well my team is preforming about where I thought it would. Getting contributions from every line. While some of my stars have yet to break out im sure with some tinkering of lines everything will end up fine!

After losing opening game, we were quite surprised and happy with going 5-0-3 although we have gotten two of last 3 tie point while losing in OT or Shootout. We had another tough lost today against a solid Boston team after being down 3-0, we gave it a good run at them.
With this young team, we are only hoping to get better and better each game and be competitive.
