Iginla, only because after I found out couldn't resign him. Best RW in the league; still available 2 1/2 years. Want to see what the offers are, only looking for a really good young player I can resign, no combos or Boogard.......well mabye Derek Boogard. This is why we shouldn't allow new GMs to make deals right away. Anyways... Zednik - available for a 5th Holmqvist - cheap backup, available for a 5th Marty Straka - good rental, 67 OV, available for picks and prospects.

Ryan Malone is on the block, he is a decent power forward and I expect equal value for a playoff run, or don't waste my time.

You know you all keep saying this, but you have to remember that when this was started there was alot of us who never was in a league like this and had no idea what the fuk we were doing while there was a bunch who were in other leagues, so they knew what the fuk they were doing.
Whenever you get involved in something, there are rules and people should be required to read rules like I was told when I originally signed on.......We cannot assume that people did not read rules as we are all grown responsible ( some of us, maybe not me LOL ) people and like it was required to read, it is still required.....Like I said I was new and there were people who knew so much of what was going on.
We all have to take responsibility, period! It is an adult thing here, not a kids, so what I am saying is that if a new person comes aboard they should be asked if they are aware of rules, if they are not then do not trade with them.
As for those who think they are better then others, be aware, you are not! Everyone is on equal footing and responsible her, one would hope.....
On another note: The Stanley Cup Playoffs start tonite which is really cool!

I looked at the rules on the homepage yesterday and they were not updated as yet, although a revised set was sent to all of us. They are now updated, that is what caused some confusion. The new guys are nervous and want to do well, instead of being made to look foolish. It's very simple.

I know I've done a few things a little off (Randy Robitaille, anyone ), but I've learned a lot in my 3 seasons here.

Ya, I made a mistake not looking into the rules. Jon did let me know the day before about UFA, but I had it in my head to get Iginla, and didn't think before. What'd done is done....I still did get one of the best players. I've learned from it, but will probably still make some mistakes, and it's not Darren's responsibility to inform me, he got a pretty good deal, I should have waited a few days to get used to the league first.

Well it depends, I tell new guys all the facts, and ask them are you sure or- do you realize. Guess that's just me though.

Good GMs admit mistakes and keep moving forward. Bad GMs run away because they can't hack it.

I don't think I've actually introduced myself, Phil told me to do it on the general page. Dumb question.....where is that?
