K first off I DID make changes after game 3 and they seemed to take effect in game 5 so I kept them the same for game 6. Second, is that comment necessary? Like honestly, why start shit? You clearly knew that this comment would not sit well with me, so why make it?? clearly I'm not a retard and can decide on the lineup I want, so after losing I don't need you kicking me when I'm down. You can say I should have made a change or two, fine. Point taken. But its the sarcasm, like "big" moves that got to me. There's a big difference between opinion, and spiteful comments. You clearly don't know the difference. You posts are opinions but you add a degree of hurt to them that make them hard to be taken as constructive. So in the future unless you have something constructive to say to me, please refrain from quoting me. Thanks. The funny thing is, I actually wasn't trying to be a dick at all lol. I was genuinely surprised that looking at the transactions you never sent in new lines after the first game, especially taking into consideration the moves you made to improve your team for a cup run Like I said, I think you've come to the point where you don't even realize when you're being rude. It's how you frame things. Putting big in quotations tells me you question the moves. Anyone else would think the same thing. And before you come out and state that I never sent in new lines after the first game, get your facts straight because I changed my lines after game 3. I don't check the transactions page so I can't speak for it. It didn't work for game 4 but did decisively in game 5. I took a gamble and kept it, and lost. On to the next season. Word of advice, let everyone do their own GMing and worry about yourself.

Good effort by Gary and the Blues.
I made one line change for the playoffs and don't think I changed them once all year. Stick with what works.
Someone who has the time can put together the records for the games after there were no line changes and records for the games right after line changes were made. Until then, I'm not sold.
I'm the Charlie Manuel of the JGHL. I hate the Phillies, but he's the manager who doesn't tinker, just runs the same guys out there night after night barring injury.

All I did was make a general statement about your series, :::::sigh::::: If only people would heed their own advice

Thanks Darren, but I think you are completely wrong. I didn't do much in the first two games and it wasn't close. In the final four games I won two and lost two games in overtime at home. Look at our teams on paper...do you think I should have had a chance to win that series? A couple of breaks in overtime and I could have won 4-2 with a totally inferior team. I may have over-managed the last game by replacing a tired Khabibulin with Price, but other than that I think my changes did make this series a lot closer than it should have been. Nash scored two goals in the first game after which I matched Backes up against him and he scored a grand total of zero goals in the final five games. Your statistical study won't mean much for my team as I change something after almost every game. Plus you would have to take into account the various strengths and weaknesses of each team...good luck with that! What a painful way to end the season...two overtime losses at home! My only regret is that I didn't get to face you in the playoffs! Next year... We'll continue this discussion on the baseball diamond next Monday...

Are you preparing for trading talks my friend? Keep the faith! Hell no lol the Caps are goin down, just need to get my tired pitcher some runs LOL Who you offering lol By the way nice battle Gary againest one of the top teams. Anytime you can beat Chris twice in a series and almost 3 times, you're doin good. Bump- just in case you missed it Gary Hey Darren if I didn't make any changes, I would have been swept by the caps. Like I said last season, when you play the same team over and over, you gotta make changes when your down or you will lose espeically if your the underdog. The regular season and the playoffs, 2 different animals. Even Greg finally sent in lines, good thing for him or I'd be on my way to visit Monty LOL I can tell you what he changed, and I didn't like it and it bit me in the ass in GM 6 LOL

I agree with Darrens philosophy - stick with what works. If you are changing things all the time, you don't really get to see who has the best chemistry. You have to give things a chance to see the chemistry, at least 5 games.
I'm an underdog against the Wings. I'm going to stick with my current lines for the first two games, and go from there. I'm confident with my team right now, and we played well against the Wings in the regular season. Hopefully I won't go down 0-2 right away, but its a strong possibility, and if I do, I'll make some changes.

Thanks Eug.....I had to make some changes after a rough Game 1, but regardless it was a good series. Wardo sure kept ya in some of the later games!
As hard as it may sound, the Pittsburgh faithful are rooting for their longtime rival Flyers. Go go go Ray!

I did miss your comment. Pretty tough to lose 4-2 with Calgary's final two wins both coming in overtime. Major overhaul coming in the off-season for the Blues with Captain Tkachuk retiring and Ray Whitney leaving as a UFA.

How sold are you now? I still gotta agree with oilers here. You spend the entire year tweaking lines, seeing what works, incorporating new acquisitions into it. What out there says that changing it for one game guarantees a victory. This isn't real life where plugging Dan carcillo on your top line for a few games can work like a charm. You stick with what has worked before. If it doesn't work for one game you can't press the panic button. The better team ends up winning at the end more often than not. I liked the oilers chances going into the series, and going into game 7. He lost by 1, rinne stood on his head what are u gonna do. On to the next year.
