So annoying when a person comes in and out bids a player you target by 100-200K. I would not mind if it was 500K at the very least but under that is pretty annoying.
A GM came in when I would have got Lilja yesterday and gace him a 100K raise.
Today Tkachuk got a 200K raise.
If your going to give a player a higher bid, at least make it worth something.
I am tempted to wait an hour before some players are about to sign in the coming days just to give that player a 100K raise, just because it is so annoying.

as a vet of the process, ive just gotta say: too bad
i got outbid on a guy 5 mins before the deadline by 200k... did i come on and complain? eventually one of you will stop placing bids.... 100k is fine.. its a 2 week process for a reason... i think alot of it has to do with bidding close to a players final worth quickly... cause ifyou start near the threshhold it will only be a few back and forths till someone drops out of the bidding...
if i see a player (UFA) going for a reasonable price to me, should I bid alot more on that player? or try to get him at the lowest price possible... if you see youve got someone bidding against you just increase your next bid by a fewe hundred k at least and THEN see if hes still going to raise you.
whatever... im rambling, just suck it up... FA is like this every year (actually this is the least controversial FA yet)

It is the way it is. Make the bids on the players you want not just for sake of bidding............heck i look at who I am going against some guys just have too much money and have to be selective and spend where I want to be.... I would like to be finsihed with money and bids sooner then later.... LOL

A 100K raise seems pointless. I am going to go around handing out 100K raises right before the deadline, just cause it is so annoying.

LOL I have seen some pointless hits at the last minute, but 2 can play that game. ;D I would like to see the min bid raised next season.

All kidding aside- I think this has been 1 of the best FA's to date. We're all gettin better at it, and the bidding war's are interesting to say the least, I think money has been managed well by most, helping to keep players around that seem to draw a huge interest.
Some big surprises as to some GM'S pullin off some big steals. Demitra looms large on my team since he can be changed to any forward position and has nice numbers, his value shines through during FA [priceless].
