I'm a happy camper.
What a steal I got on Lydman at 2m.
80 CK, 74 ST, 78 DI, 71 DF. Hell of a solid defensive defenseman.

With 10 minutes left? C@cksucker, I was doing so well! I think that you should get Todd White for $1,000,000 considering my bid wasn't valid and you would've had him if I hadn't made that bid.....assuming that's what you're talking about.

Nope wasn't Todd White. Just happened to notice that bid when checking around at what other centers were getting. I was talking about Kozlov.

maybe im nuts, but dont you have to raise the pay of an FA to make a bid, even if you have a lower record than the previous bidder?

Don't think so...otherwise once the first $10 million bid comes in for a FA, the lower finishing teams would not be able to land these guys have they all along... A longer contract at the same $ amount also trumps the lower length deal, so it is still "improving" the deal for the FA according to our rules...

The only time you can just match,(unless you can raise the years) is when it goes to 10 mil, and you can't raise. The rule stats, 100,000 min raise, there is no mention of team records, unless it is to 10mil (tie breaker then applies) so you must bid at least 100,000 regardless of your record before it reaches 10mil, jon and i talked about it last night, it is confusing enough, for some, without that added in. Just in case LOL If you haven't bid before, or been bidding the whole time and 10 mil has $, you can only match it, right? you can't bid 250 or 500, right?, so apply logics and fire away.
