Well Shawn, when you got stalwart defensive studs like Ruslan Salei, Kevin Klein and Matt Carkner defending your back end, you will kill a lot of powerplay.

i have 2 annoying questions: How is edmonton the worst PP in the league? How is MTL the 3rd best PK in the league? My team has the worst PP in the league because I like the team to treat the power play like they're killing a penalty. Just dump it in, ice it, retreat, repeat. My team is so good, so good you see that it's just not fair for them to try on the power play. I wouldn't lose a game if they started taking shots on the power play. Just trying to keep it competitive and fun for everyone. You're welcome. How many JGHLers will be at the Oilers game tonight?

I will be listening to the 2nd period on 6:30 CHED on my way home, then go to Blockbuster's during the intermission and pick up Sex and the City 4 for Phil and I, then watch the third period on a t.v. screen that is square, not like these new rectanglular, flat things. Much better than watching it in person.

Tough game with Eastern Leading Penquins who made a run in 3rd after we took a 3-0 lead. Held on for a solid two points, need a good win against a top team.

I've won a few 1 goal games in a row, that makes me nervous since those games can easily go the other way too Nice to see all lines producing well though.

after being king of the OTL losses last year we are back to not being able to pull wins out in OT..........nice comeback against the 1st place team in west and enough to get a point, but would like to win a few OT games.

Bleh 37 shots and only two goals. Its tough to get a head of the pack in the Western Conference right now.

I have decided to let my power play try for a few games, just to see what it's like. The West is tough. Lots of geniuses running teams in that conference.

Not many teams have a good PP right now. Only 5 teams with >17%. I keep managing to get mine up to 16%, and then I go 0/7 in one game (like today), and it drops back into the lower half of the league.
My teams inability to score on the PP today cost the game.
Edit: Just noticed yours is 5.36%... ouch.

Of course it's another OT/shootout loss for the Oilers. That's how I roll. 2 regulation losses all year.
Oh, remember when I made some PP lines finally? 2 for 2 today. Don't take penalties against me.

Hmm, seems like the changes I made are working for the moment. OTL against Vancouver and then a nice win against Florida. Right back into the hunt, hopefully we can keep it going for awhile.

Big win against a much improved Vancouver team. We would have preferred the true test of Bryzgalov @ 100%, but we'll take the win Still can't seem to get the PK unit out of the cellar
