LOL I'd say so far, the Rangers- Pitts trade is the closest to a blockbuster kidding aside. Needs more votes though, Voting VERY lacking in the league, and needs to improve, 25 guys logged in over the last 24hrs., and only 13 bothered to vote on a trade posted Monday night, that sucks guys. Looks like a fair trade to me, and a good one for both, one rebuilding the other goin for all the marbles. Kipper UFA after season.

I think the reason votes are down is because the trade posts get lost in the shuffle and unless people actually go into the trades forum, they won't see it.
It's the same reason people post and repost their blocks- people who log in less often will not see them. I use the 'view latest posts' option more often than not as I'm sure others do too.
Maybe a solution for this is to make the trade posts a sticky, like they do on other boards. Maybe have them copied somehow to the main page of the boards. Not sure if its possible or not but having the trade at the front door will make ppl vote on it right away.

The problem is due to the way proboards works, I have to prevent non-logged in users from being able to vote (or people could in theory vote more than once), the only way I can do that is to make the trade section require a log-in to view.
If I say, made the trades "announcements" which puts them on every board, then non-logged in users can vote on it. Hands are kinda tied.

I don't think this should be a problem, when you log in check, how hard is that?
