i thought this was a pretty interesting article. The guy obviously makes his own rankings without regard for the general fan consensus. I like articles like that cause it gives you a fresh (and usually informed) perspective on alot of these players. At the same time though, i think sometimes these guys (no offence chris) get too wrapped up in finding hidden gems that they ignore the diamonds on the surface.

Emerson Etem at #75 and Jared Cowan at #76 on the list. I don't know if it's just me, but that sees a little low for those two guys. IMO

IMO Yeah - Corey Pronman & Hockey Prospectus really purposely try to be different in my honest opinion. I would take their rankings with a grain of salt (or a shot of whiskey...lol)! I did a Top 100 last fall & hope to do the same this fall as well.

IMO id agree on Cowan, but I think etem has slipped a bit since he was drafted. I think it has become apperant that he needed a little more work than many thought. that being said, i dont think it changes his ultimate ceiling.

It's nice to see so many Islanders on the list, but Kabanov over Niederreiter, and 14th overall none the less. That seems just a little off.

Nice list Chris but you got some guys that are inexplicably high like Grimaldi, Kabanov, Kruger to name a few. Meanwhile you got Dumoulin at 97 where its widely agreed that he's the best dman in college at the moment. Just can't see the 82 spot dropoff between say David Savard and him

I think the fact that he has dominated a good mens leauge (maybe the 5th best in the world after NHL, AHL, SEL, KHL) has really helped his stock. Hes got speed, smarts, and hes not terrible defensively. He just looks like hes going to be a top line center

So does Winnipeg lose his picks now or I am misreading the EST clock?

So does Winnipeg lose his picks now or I am misreading the EST clock? I had a list of two guys he sent me but couldn't find it and Gavin didn't have it either. So I was trying to wait to make my pick, then he signed on.
