Now that the trade deadline has passed and the dust has settled, who do you think is the favorite to win the cup? Feel free to add comments.....

I'm voting Detroit, but it should be a very competitive year.
Toronto is the best team on paper and is even better with St. Louis, but the team hasn't backed that up with real convincing results. I would have thought they would be an .800+ team, even without St. Louis. It'll be interesting if St. Louis gets Toronto to the next level.
St. Louis made some huge additions at the deadline in Richards, Burns and Gilbert, while only giving up Pacioretty. I honestly think they could challenge Detriot. Since those trades were made St. Louis has a comparable record to Detroit.
Detroit was a bit handcuffed by the cap and couldn't make any big trades. Kunitz is a solid addition, but not the game breaker type player that the Leafs and Blues added. Same with Jurcina. I voted for Detroit because Adam has some great chemisty going and they have by far the best record this season. Toronto and St. Louis did gain some ground though.

Detroit's been the best team all year and certainly didn't do anything to hurt themselves at the trade deadline, so I have to go with a second cup win for Adam.

Wow, all those GM's are original GM's, except Gary (Stl), and he is close to 5 yrs. in the league. A ton of experience here, we could use a cup over in the East.LOL I'm goin with TB, I think Scott made some nice moves, and will face Gary STL. in the final. With all the experience it's hard to pick a winner. Adam and Chris are problably the 2 wisest GM's in the league, so you can never count them out.

I am sure someone was drinking heavy with NJ getting one vote....Thanks will do best to destroy the dreams of others.....LOL
I would have picked Tampa with the pick-ups that were made but thinking Scott is still short in goal to win it all.....goalies win in finals in this league and Toronto, Detriot and St. Louis all have the players to match or be better up front but also in goal is a big difference.....
I can only hope I get a hot goalie and cause some problems for my friends in the east and if I can, then give headache to winner in west.....LOL I will do my best to mess them up!

Truthfully, i think Detroit has the best team on paper. i may have the better rated players but he's got the depth. i was also pretty disappointed with my record pre Marty, but i attributed most of it to Vokoun's sub par play and lack of another puck mover on D. I think i addressed both of that with Thomas and Wideman. For me, Thomas is the x factor. If he can continue to play like he did for Gavin, i can go far. Judging by the shutout last game im optimistic. If i had to pick another team based solely on gut, id take the Blues. those were some huge pickups, and the depth he has at forward and D right now can't be matched. It's gonna come down to whether or not the Price is right. Hopefully ill see you in the finals where i HOPE third time will be the charm

LOL No but honestly, i based my decision on my gut feeling... And for me it came dow to Jersey and Detroit, with a little edge to Jersey... But deep down, I am praying for an amazing run by My Ducks to finish the season and the run continuing throught the playoffs... ;D ;D

It'll be very close between Toronto, St. Louis, and Detroit. Gave it to Toronto going by what looks best on paper, but not by much.

Im surprised people arent more bullish on Toronto.
Detriot has a much better D corps, but Tor has the edge in net and up front.
Sharky made me a beliver in scoring winning championships

I voted for Detroit too, with Toronto a close 2nd and St. Louis the big wild card. Pretty surprised Calgary has zero votes
