Well, it's over, after missing the playoffs the last 4 years (by 4 points combined the last 2 years) my playoff hopes have been squashed for the 11-12 season. I really wanted to see a little more from my team, especially after all the trades at the end of the season, but to be the first team eliminated and the only team to be swept so far, it's more than a little disappointing. I did however get to push 2 games into overtime against Detroit, but the depth of his line-up and the talent of his team was/is too ridiculous to overcome. So congratulations to Adam...I hope you win it all now I want to thank/and apologize to Nash, it was a great race the last 25 games (also with Edmonton & Anaheim) but I think you would have done much better against DET. so I'm sorry I took your spot. I really need goal tending, I just couldn't land ANY before the deadline. So it looks like someone is going for a goalie during FA I want to thank the GMs that have been in contact with me over the last couple of months, it's amazing the support one team will give to another team in this league, the advise and help I really appreciate. The group of guys (and girl) in this league are first class, with Jon ans Gavin running this like clock work, it's no wonder this is going on 10 years.

No reason to hang your head Mike. It's hard as hell to make the playoffs these days, and you did it with weak Goal- tending. Detroit is argumentatively the best team in the league, and most of us may have suffered the same fate. Taking him to OT twice a good battle, it could be a tie series.

I think there is an issue with the results on the homepage.
I am seeing Philly won 5-1, there is no way that is the true result! ;D

Congrats to Toronto.. The Bruins kept it close - outscored by only 3 over 5 games. Took him to OT in one of my losses too. Just too much talent on their club. Good luck the rest of the way!

Sorry to give you the boot so early, Mike It was definitely closer than 4-0 would indicate, as like you said 2 of the 4 games went to OT. You certainly have something to look forwad to next season with your team, especially with Karlsson and MDZ on the blueline!

Thanks Jim! You definitely made me sweat a bit after game 4. All games were close and i was lucky to come out with the tight wins in game 2 and 3. Well played sir.

I was actually rooting for you to make it to the playoffs, especially after trading you Doan. I don't think I would have done any better against Detroit.

Good series with Anaheim, every single game except for one had a single goal margin. It could have been a lot closer.
Now I look forward to getting my ass kicked by either Calgary, Chicago or St. Louis.
I can't believe the Hawks just took a 3-2 series lead over the Flames. Gavin trades away all his best players, and gets better haha. I guess that doesn't say much about Big Joe.
