Overall happy with my team, but could use an upgrade on D.
Willing to deal prospects and/or picks to acquire a guy that could play on the second pairing...
Unlikely I'd deal Tarasenko in case you're thinking of going down that road.

Reminder that the Canucks have the following players avaialble if any team needs help:
Pavel Datsyuk Milan Jurcina Tom Gilbert Brooks Orpik Trevor Daley Scott Clemensen Brian Boucher Travis Moen Samuel Pahlsson Raffi Torres Steve Sullivan
Looking for young players, picks and prospects but would be willing to take salary back for to make a mutually helpful deal.

Would consider moving Cole, Carle maybe a few others in the right deals. Send offers and we will see what's happening from there......

On the Block update:
Looks like Wisniewski is going to be on the move in the next few days, so this will be the last chance to make an offer. Great offensive and physical ratings, and hes not a liability on defence. Not a UFA, could keep him for many years to come.
Henrik Sedin -needs no explanation - 3 years @ 9m
Karlis Skrastins -pretty good (78 df, 66ov) defensive dman, cheap contract - 2 years @ 1.5m

Jan Hejda - 86CK/78DF - I need to move him to make room for a trade I am working on. Legit offers only please, as year after year he is a defensive rock.
Mark Streit - Obviously fully healthy, back to form and having a good season so far. He makes 10mil and has 1 year left but is also on "Players Under Contract" as he did not play last year. So until the offseason he will cost you zero against the cap and you have the security of knowing you have a #1 D-man in your back pocket for next season. I will consider all offers for him.

LW - Ray Whitney - 79PA His stock keeps rising as he now has 10pts (5g-5a) in 9 NHL games. Only 500k for a player with 79PA now, imagine what you could end up having for next season @ only 500k

With Weber gone, the Canucks still have one franchise type player available:
Pavel Datsyuk
Could be the final piece in some team's drive to the playoffs or a title.

I'm starting to lose my patience with the Group i have.... we've lost 6 in a row... so really, im looking to shake things up a bit.....
Alex Burrows, Jerome Iginla, Brad Boyes, Chris Kunitz... could all be on the move.
I need someone to play with Toews.... and get him going.

I've had it with Tim Thomas, he obviously doesn't fit as the backstop to my team.
Looking to goalie swap with another 73 OV goalie.

Gaborik
On pace for a 40+ goals and 70+ points season. Best offer from now until the deadline gets him. Looking for MINIMAL salary in return. That means ideal offer will include some combination of prospects/young players/picks, or a min contract impact player of a different position (preferably D or LW). Will not settle for anything too soon since I can clearly use him for now.

LW/RW - Huselius - 74SC - $2,500,000 - 1 year (UFA)
I don't know what else to do at this point. Other than todays game he has been on the 1st or 2nd line for every game, and has been on the #1 PP unit for every single game this season. Yet somehow he has only managed one lonley assist in 16 games!
Basically just looking for some sort of swap. If you have a player with a similar rating(s), salary and contract and would like to shake things up then shoot me a PM.
I am too close to the cap to take on additional salary, but would gladly add a pick if your player happens to have an extra year or so on their contract.

Pretty open from picks and prospects to any players except on a 1yr UFA contract.
