The deadline is approaching so its time for another on the block post. I am looking to pick up prospects, picks and younger players.
I have a number of players that can put a contender over the top:
Henrik Sedin: Rated as one of the 2 best centers in the game this year, and hes currently leading the league in points, so he wont be losing ratings any time soon. Hes got an expensive contract, but the ratings to match it.
James Wisniewski: Great puck moving defenceman, rated very well this year, not great not a liability on D. Hes not having a dominating year, but hes still putting up points. Mid level contract.
Kevin Klein: A great 4th defenceman. 83 DF with good SK and ST makes him a great shutdown/PK monster. Cheap contract and still RFA when its up.
Andreas Lilja: Veteran defenceman with a decent UFA contract. 78 defence makes him a good fit on the last pairing.
Karlis Skraskins: Basically the same thing as lilja.
Andrew Ladd: Great all around ratings, can slot in on any unit on a contending team and contribute. Of all the players in this list, hes the one im least likely to deal unless i get a great offer.

I'm likely going to be a seller.... so if anyone's looking to pick up some pieces at the deadline, I'm looking for prospects, a staring goalie for next season and picks in the 2012 and 2013 draft...

Guys on the TB block:
Weiss- Having a very good NHL year and you get him for this year and then 5 more if you re-sign to max (could be wrong I always screw up contract rules) Arnott- great 3rd line guy for a play-off team Kovalev- provides nice offense Steven Bernier- he would come cheap to anyone that wants him Ben Eager- He is tough Derek Mackenzie- he is a center
Zdeno Chara- Still a stud at this point in his career Scott Hannan- defensive rental to shore up bottom pair and PK Josh Gorges- Underated guy with a great contract and still young
Guys also available but unlikely to go:
Suter Laich Frolik
Niskanen

I'm trying to drop a bit of salary, so looking for move either Lidstrom or Iginla. I'd also consider moving Heatley or Parise.

Following guys will be available from now until the deadline. Not necessarily trading all of them, but they are in play nonetheless: Marian Gaborik – Comeback season continues with a hatty at the ASG. On pace for 40+ goals, will have an 80+ SC rating next season and signed for another 4 years. I may end up keeping him if I don’t get an offer I like, as elite scoring wingers don’t grow on trees. Justin Williams – Solid ratings now, and is on pace to maintain them. Relatively young , cheap, and resign-able. Jason Garrison – Should have one of the better combos of SC/DF ratings in the league for dmen next season. Still has top 6 ratings right now. Patrick Berglund – Solid 2C/3C ratings now, still on pace for 20+ goals in nhl, young/cheap, and has untapped potential. Matt Martin – NHL’s leader in hits, carved out a nice niche on the Isles 3rd line, should improve ratings wise. Eric Nystrom – On pace for ~25 goals in nhl, should rerate nicely in SC and DF. Perfect 3rd liner for next year. Brian Dumoulin – One of the top D in all of college, turning pro next season. 2013 draft picks 2014 draft picks I’m only interested in deals that will address my team’s needs- LW, D (puck moving), and shedding salary where possible. Trust me, I'm not worried about making room for St Louis (only ~1.2 mil and i already have a potential deal that can clear it). So no lowballs please
