As this upcoming season will be our 10th, I thought it would be fun to do something different for the 10 year anniversary. I didn't want to do anything too crazy so this is what I came up with.....a complete randomization and re-ordering of the divisions.
This would be for one season and one season only. But I don't want to do this if the majority of the league would be against it. So please vote so I can see where you guys stand on this idea, as well please feel free to add any comments or concerns.

I wouldn't be against a permanent reorganization actually. Keep teams in their respective conferences for sure, but switching up the divisions would be fun.

You know if you really want to get crazy put all the teams into a hat and draw a new team per gm! That'll get some peoples blood boiling!
I was looking at the archives earlier and the old names were good to see. Not sure if this is possible, but what if each team got to bring back one player from that franchise's past to play the one season?

I thought about something like that when tossing ideas around, but I really didn't want to mess with the "integrity" of the teams.

I don't know about a permanent change, but I'm digging the idea for at least one season. How about putting teams in alphabetical order, because I think it's going to be difficult to divvy the teams up that will make everyone happy.

...because I think it's going to be difficult to divvy the teams up that will make everyone happy. That's why I use an online randomizer and the results are the results, no human input

I'm not for a historical player addition... I just like keeping as much realism as possible. Plus, on a team like mine, I could bring back virtually any player in the league since I trade so much haha. I would like to bring back the old Lidstrom though Randomizing the divisions for one season is cool with me.

Agree with Jake & Jon's original proposal.
"Randomizing the divisions for one season is cool with me."

Makes no difference to me. Someone who made the playoffs last year will miss out this season when I take their spot...
