Finally get a couple days off to rest , Filippula gettin tired and can use the time off. 97 CON We're playin liked I hoped we would, and thought we could.

OK, who predicted Jimmy Howard of the Vancouver Canucks would record the JGHL's first shutout? Not me, that's for sure. Off to a solid 2-2-1 start, getting contributions from a lot of different guys. Playoffs here we come!! ..or not.

Really happy coming out of the first four games 3-1, especially considering we played Calgary twice, and Toronto and Carolina once.
Lots of different players are contributing, especially Tavares and Chara. Reading the play by play really shows how big of an impact Chara has on every part of the game. I'm a bit disappointed with the first line... Stamkos, Sedin and Parise are all at a P/G, but most of those points have come on the PP. They are -4 even strength, so I may need to mix things up.

Well, I'm not disappointed so far, although my schedule so far hasn't been the most difficult, but those games are on the way soon enough.
Really happy with Byfuglien so far for sure. Chicago is 2nd in goals for/goals against at 150%, 2nd in PP+PK at 126%, 3rd in Shots for/against at 124%, and 2nd in Faceoff %. So only good things so far, hopefully the guys can keep it up as coming up this week are games against Carolina and Nashville.
I'm in the same situation with my 1st line, being -4 in even strength play, but also with the most points on my roster, so its tough call on what to do to turn their play around, but I have some ideas.
I'd have to say, the worst play so far is coming from my goalie, Mike Smith. 89.6 save percentage, with 3.21 GAA is not a good start at all, we're winning right now, but if Smith doesn't pick up his play, we won't much longer.

Probably my toughest test of the year to date coming up tomorrow against Carolina. Will be a great test to see how my team performs.

Play the Caps tomorrow, they are hard to score on, should be a good test for both teams.

PLUS you go up against a tired Luongo. Looks like the smoke and mirrors is all on my side, lol. So much for a for a tired Luongo too, tired Luongo only lets in 3 goals on 40 shots, but a 100 CON Mike Smith lets in 5 in 21 shots. I just don't get why my goalie is playing so poorly, his ratings are just as good as anyone elses goalie, but he is doing extremely poor, despite my guys giving up a very low number of shots against so far. Todays performance was really pathetic all around, plus Horton took and injury with 15 seconds left in the game...sigh.

That was an amazing win by Carolina for sure, not exactly a poster child for using one's back-up Goalie. Can't ever under-estimate a solid GM like Kevin, he knows the numbers game very well, and can beat anyone in the league imo. Real happy with my teams play, no complaints here as yet. Will be playing the Blues for the second time Sunday. Won our first meeting 5-4, expecting another close one.

Really disappointing loss against a good Bruins team... need to find a way to get my top line going. Special teams have also been really weak. I'll shake things up for tomorrow against Colorado... hopefully Elliot's second start goes better than his first.

Next game will have to sit Luongo though. His CD should be 96, need to bring it back up this early in the season. 6 games in and have a work horse like Luongo this tired isnt that realistic, but o well, this is sim not the NHL.

I think any goalie who plays 6 gms in 12 days and sees the rubber he does, would be the same. Your SA is 20th in the league, and you give up an average of 30 shots a game, Luongo must be seeing pucks in his sleep. LOL I see alot of over-use of players with low EN and DU ratings and a couple teams payin the piper for it. I think that's a good thing for the league.
