I seriously need this NHL season to start. Otherwise im going to finish bottom 5 next year tooooo I'm with you Shawn. Nothing worse for a rebuilding team, than a season where your players ratings can't improve.

Why is Vokoun so terrible? .846 and 3.74? Not giving up many shots, but he stinks. Stinks!

Lockout!! Lockout!! LOL
Kidding aside, it would be awful. Completely screws over any team that is waiting on key players. That said, I truly do think that at worst we're going to see a 40-50 game season starting in Jan. At best, a 70 game season starting beginning of Dec. Bettman isn't stupid enough to have another lost season added to his "legacy".

I wish they'd just cancel the season already. I can't believe I don't miss hockey even a tiny bit. I still have NHL 13 sitting unwrapped. I can't be bothered to follow what's happening and have unfollowed pretty much every NHL player and NHL type person who'd tweet about it. I just don't care at all. A short season would be stupid. The whole thing is stupid. The one thing I did hear in a report I saw by accident is how would it be to be a guy like Iginla, who when the season is cancelled will have missed out on $14 million because of labour disputes? Hockey can eat eff. See you next year. I hope the Oilers get good so I can sell my tickets easily.

Contrary to prior seasons where all you could really do is shuffle your lines and hope for the best, I strongly suggest taking advantage of and experimenting with the line strategy sliders and team strategy options. There is also a new option in this version of the editor, a button labeled "Reset Pro Stats". If you click that button it will reset statistics on the line "Since Last GM Reset" of your "Pro Team Stats VS" page. This way if you make changes you can track basic results.

Got a good old fashioned goalie controversy in Chicago!
Hedberg has gotten two starts in a row and made the most of them, winning both, 1.0 GAA, 92.9% save percentage. Thats a better two games in a row than Smith has managed to do with 9 games.
Hedberg is likely to remain the goalie of choice in Chicago unless fatigue or statistics show a reason to do otherwise.
Smith will be getting the start against Vancouver as Hedberg nurses light fatigue.

Vokoun still sucks. Bogosian has gone 1-5-6 in two games. I score all of the goals but need to figure out how to keep them out of the net.

Note to Bobby Ryan:
When we are down one with 5 minutes to play maybe don't take a 5 minute major next time.

That game was a little too close for comfort. Guess some rivalries never die, eh Ron?

With 3 games over the next 4 days and Miller at 99, Khabibulin will get his first start tomorrow against Montreal. Miller should be fresh and ready for San Jose Monday.

Nice redeeming win over Philly, after allowing 7 goals against in our last meeting.
