At this point each team has played an average of 10 games. Since we switched to V2 (and I made some minor slider adjustments based on tests) I wanted to do a comparison to see where we're at in some statistics in relation to last season. These are just the stats that we have control over based on sliders...
Goals Per Game: 2011-12 - 2.85 League Avg. 2012-13 - 2.92 League Avg.
Shots Per Game: 2011-12 - 26.65 League Avg. 2012-13 - 27.47 League Avg.
PIM Per Game: 2011-12 - 8.53 League Avg. 2012-13 - 10.08 League Avg.
Hits Per Game: 2011-12 - 20.28 League Avg. 2012-13 - 21.92 League Avg.
Overall I think it's pretty damn close, if not spot on! I've noticed some statistical outputs that vary from previous seasons with V1, but I think those are things we'll just have to get used to as they can't specifically be adjusted. But so far I'm pretty happy how this season is rolling out.

I agree. I also like the new goalie fatigue settings so far.

I agree. I also like the new goalie fatigue settings so far. I agree, I think the goalie fatigue settings are perfect. However, based on our miscalculations I would really like to tweak the player fatigure settings. Currently: 23 = -1 25 = -2 28 = -3 Update To: 21 = -1 23 = -2 26 = -3 I just think forwards are still getting too many minutes, and if our original calculations were infact correct then they wouldn't be getting the minutes that they currently are.

I have been trying for 2 weeks to prevent Hamhuis and Kronwall from going -1 EVERY game and can't do it, even when I cut their ice time from 1 location, they find their way on the ice some other way.
Not sure what to do if my top defensive pairing can only play 23-24 minutes, thats kinda crappy.

I felt that my forwards are getting tired pretty fast... maybe its just me... Players that play on every unit will obviously get tired faster. Stepan = ES1, PP1, PK1 Sedin = ES1, PP1, PK1 Voracek - ES1, PP1, PK1 Desharnais = ES2, PP2, PK2 Not to mention you never give Sedin enough time to recover, so he's gonna keep going out.

I'm not sure I agree, I like them the way they are, how do the rest of you guys feel. I see lots of tired players and lot's of auto lines.

Hamhuis and Kronwall currently avg. 25:09/25:39 per game. Today they both played 27:30 in a non OT game. I'm not sure how many minutes you expect them to be able to play and not lose CON points. If you want to cut their ice-time then take them off every unit!

If Montreal keeps putting Sedin on every line starting at 96CON, of course he's gonna go out again! Look at who gets autoed and why, it's not the fatigue settings.

I do however lol see a bit of a problem with the farm goalies, bobrovsky loses 5 con pts everytime he plays.

If you want to cut their ice-time then take them off every unit! Well, today was a bit of an anomaly, as there were 15 penalties called, each AVERAGE about 25 minutes. Thats pretty standard number of minutes for a top pairing defenseman in the NHL ( www.nhl.com/ice/playerstats.htm?fetchKey=20122ALLDADALL&sort=avgTOIPerGame&viewName=summary ) Anyway, they are top guys, they need to be in those slots...but I've been tweaking % for awhile trying to cut a minute here and a minute there, nearly there, but what I'm saying is...I think things are just about right, I don't think it needs to be harder than it currently is, as its challenging now.

My main guys were getting pretty tired earlier in the year. Switched around some of the lines and % played and seems to be much better now. With that said I would not be in for increasing the fatigue settings. Its tough enough as is, especially for teams without a ton of depth on forward.

I do however lol see a bit of a problem with the farm goalies, bobrovsky loses 5 con pts everytime he plays. That is a sim error and will be fixed next update. I also think this is why we're seeing a lot more PPG players on the league leaders list. Here is the avg. ice-time for the top 5 points leaders last season..... Ryan - 19.4 Couture - 18.4 Kopitar - 20.8 Stamkos - 22 Crosby - 17.6 Currently 13 of the top 20 points leaders for forwards average more than 20mins PG. If the majority wants it left alone then so be it, I just don't think you should be able to play your players on every-single-unit and not expect them to get tired, just shouldn't happen.
