Nashville. They may be a little weak on LW but I think a couple of his RW can swap over. Plus he has a very steady defense corp. I feel Calgary will pretty much run away with it this year. Its very frustrating to see how good some of the teams in the West actually are. Calgary, San Jose, Chicago, Colorado are all stellar. Plus you can not discount Detrot's ability to somehow find chemisty and scoring in the most unusual places. Meanwhile there are some teams without a freaking goalie yet and others that basically only have a goalie yet seem to make their team worse and worse. Probably. But not till the Western Conference Finals when Calgary's powerplay tears him apart. If Gavin gets a second line Center you can cross San Jose in the statement above and insert Chicago. yup. Not as much parity in the east as there is in teh West. My vote goes for Montreal. If he can get under the cap without killing his roster. Art Ross - Ovechkin Norris - Pronger Richard - Heatley Hart - Pronger or Heatley Vezina - Kipprusoft Selke - Richards? East/West - Montreal/ Calgary Cup - Calgary* I have an asterisk beside Calgary because I just wanted to point out that he will have a sweet time signing Savard, Kapanen,Kipprusoft, Marleau, Pronger and Afinogenov Damn you Western Conference!! I thought I may actually have a shot this year! Maybe I can move my team to Ottawa.

Hard to get a 2nd line center when all you have to trade is what nobody needs or wants.

If the NJ-CLB deal goes through I'm picking the Devil's to win the East... they would have a strong defense, above average offense and a star goalie. One of the more balanced teams in the East.

Pretty much done with my top 3 lines. Hard as hell to pick anyone up, when you wind up in silent bids daily.LOL This is my new and improved 3rd line. Bourque Rucchin Stevenson.

I find it amusing that more people didn't go after the players that needed to be bid on that 2nd day, on the first day, same with the 3rd day. (If that made sense).
Everybody keeps going for the same people, lol.

Everybody keeps going for the same people, lol. I have pretty much refused to bid on 3rd line players. Bourque and Ouellet where the only ones I did, even though I had the choice to bid on 7or so others.

If i would have gone for them first, knowing the other would get bids, I would have got them for 500k each!!! Oh damn anyway LOL

What's not to like about your team? you can roll four lines after position changes, you have two unbelievable goalies an awesome tandem so that wont be a concern. Need maybe another offensive defenseman and two stay at home guys for PK and your team is scarey dangerous. The depth is awesome. thank. I wish I could switch Roy to left wing. That would be sweet. Yeah, once I put my lines together, it didn't look too bad. As you pointed out, my real weak spot... at least in the short term is on Defense.

Roy is listed as a LW/C according to TSN www.tsn.ca/nhl/teams/players/bio/?id=2162&hubname=nhl-sabresSo you can position change him.
