Big win for the Lightning on the road!!
PP looked good and PK was perfect. Aebischer good enough for the win and two new guys with big games.
Good start to the season.

Nice first game for the Wild. The Wild down 3-0 going into the third came out strong and managed to tie the game and force OT. We lost in OT but get a point out of a game we had no business getting point out of. Good first day, even out shot the Avs too.

We can't be blowing 3 goal leads if we expect to survive in the west this season!

Nice 2 games for the Rangers who have been quiet lately taking on arguelably the 2 top teams in the east holding them to 2 goals in the 2 games defence is holding up very pleased hope for further things to come next 3 games are going to be the telling part at Columbus, home for the first game against another powerhouse in Chicago and then on the road again against the Stanley Cup Champions a hard way to start of the season.

No love for the islanders in your first 2 picks though. It was a motivational tactic!

I am impressed with the Rangers start, didn't really hear much talk about them during the off-season, but they are a very sollid team. Should be a fun matchup.

A combined total of 16 shots by Hossa-Nagy- Morrow and 1goal to show for it, as Esche almost stones us.
