Well our adjustments seemed to neutralize Edmonton at even strength, just gave them too many PP chances. Also averaging 33.6 shots against (compared to 25.4 regular season) which is a little bit of a concern if the series goes deep. We might just have to turn this into a shootout and see what happens

Went away for the weekend and am very upset over Friday and today's results. Stamkos and St. Louis have chosen a great time to go ice cold. Definitely need to make adjustments, but am hesitant to break up one of the top scoring lines of the regular season.

We got some work to do Jake, these Bruins n Preds teams are hungry, skilled and have something to prove -guy who's worried.

PP has been very limited and dead this series, a little experiment paid off with the GWG. Steal one in Philly and head back to Chicago with a commanding series lead

So how do I end up shorthanded 11 times when I have both defense and physical at zero? Oh well, try again next year

But it was nice to fire off 56 shots, too bad it was Rask and not Vokoun. Looks like we might have to rest Marty next game otherwise he may never recover enough to be a factor

So how do I end up shorthanded 11 times when I have both defense and physical at zero? I'm not sure being "physical" and taking penalties is directly tied to each other. I'm sure it can be looked at both ways, but for example..... This season in the NHL: LA Kings - 2nd most hits in the league/9th fewest minors taken NY Rangers - 3rd most hits in the league/2nd fewest minors taken Winnipeg - 4th most hits in the league/T-1st fewest minors taken Just because you play a less physical game doesn't necessarily mean you'll take less penalties.

Thank goodness, I thought I lost yesterday, but it was just pretending.

You guys look for answers/explanations (maybe somewhat rhetorically), I try and provide them, and I'm pretty much dismissed. For example, you complain about Vokoun's performance, I'm pretty sure you didn't start using 0-0-5 on every-single-option until you went against Tampa in the 1st round. During the regular season Vokoun was only .28 off the GAA leader and only .013 off the SV% leader. Yet since switching to 0-0-5 he is ranked 15/15 in GAA and 14/15 in SV%. But one probably has nothing to do with the other

Another OT game with Boston. It was a must win, and the unlikely Dennis Seidenberg came through. Really tough series. Out shot again and still can't shut down Kane as he put up another two points.

Nice win today for you.. it's been quite an exciting series. We were so close today to stealing a commanding lead. Now we have to fight it out in San Jose.

Not happy about blowing a 2 goal lead to start the 3rd, but Gabby bailed me out for a big win. Starting to get flashbacks of last year's semis against Ron. Back and forth every game.

Regardless of what the sliders were at, he stunk. 0.896 and 2.64 are bad. Especially with the DF ratings my team had.

And that would be the worst my PK has been all year long. 3 PP goals against, brutal, still almost no PP for me in this series, very annoying that I get tons of penalties when I only have two players below 70 DI and neither of those guys are getting the majority of the penalties either.
Pretty poor effort from Chicago in a put away game.
