Wow, nice win Hunter, break up the Wings! Mason deal looks like a good move. Looks like I still need a scoring wing for my power play 0 for 5 needs to be improved upon asap

Weird...I've set it twice now to make it so Raanta is pulled no matter what if he gives up 3 goals and twice he has not been pulled.

Big game against Nashville tomorrow and Voracek has to get himself suspended. Looks like Stamkos will play next to Tavares tomorrow.

So follow up question: Does it matter who has the 2 goal lead? "Yes. The team who want to change his goalie must trail by 2 goals or more."

Very nice performance from Howard today, snapping a 5 gm. losing streak against the much improved Ducks. Still can't seem to generate much offense of late, in spite of numerous changes on my top 2 lines.

I would like to see teams not be allowed to use 8 d-men and 10 forwards. I don't think any team in the NHL does this.
Thoughts?

I think even 7 defenseman is a stretch. It happens occasionally when a team gets hit by injuries, but normally 4 full forward lines are required in the modern NHL game.

What's the advantage to using 8 D?

A better rested D - no need to trade for depth on the forward lines. Doubling up your best players etc.. All pretty logical to me.

I think Al must have placed some kind of voodoo curse on Ben Bishop before he traded him to me. He's been bad more often than he's been good this season. Right now I'm writing it off as bad luck, with his ratings he should be better and hopefully he will be by playoff time. But just in case, could you do a guy a favour and put the doll and pins away, Al.

I really need to get Stepan, Pacioretty and Wheeler going... they were put together to shut down the opposing top lines, but really aren't doing that (Bryan Little with 4 points yesterday against us!). They also aren't scoring. I'm running out of line combinations!
Unless the NHL has a rule for dressing 8 defensemen, I don't think we should make a rule against it. It is just part of the strategy.

LOL My guys last season were all low 70s except for two guys in the 80s; your guys are high 70s and 80s... They must block to many shots... And when Bishop gets/sees a shot, he does not know what to do... lol
