No rush Jon, take however long you need. I'm sure makeshift team rosters have already been compiled from the excels, with OVs and all. Or maybe just me lol

No worries, Jon. Take as all the time you need as Eug said.

Oh I just meant my own roster, I'm not THAT sick lol And I used a simple avg formula in excel to give a ballpark for RFAs, but from what I recall it's not that simple for the official ones.

enter =SUM(whatever cell : whatever other cell)/16 so for Justin Abdelkader you put
=SUM(B2:Q2)/16
it should show up 69.25 but I did the math by hand and his OV should be 69 so I just use the first two numbers and ignore everything after the decimal.

OV isn't a perfect average of all the ratings as far as I know.

OV= (sum of b2:b9*.65/8)+(sum of b10:b13*1.3/4)+(sum of b14:b16*.5/3) Pretty sure that's accurate. If not, probably just wait a few days and the numbers will be there. I used a regression analysis culled from a refractory database using multiple squares to reverse engineer the formula.

I've completed cataloging last season on the website, clubhouses have been updated with last seasons team records, franchise scoring records and team draft pick history updated as well.
Next I have to update team trade history links in the clubhouses (you guys make a shitload of trades!) and then it's on to the ratings.

Team clubhouse trade history links have been updated.
Some interesting numbers:
Most Trades: Detroit: 40 Philly: 36 Vancouver: 35
There were 166 total trades, the season before there were 168 trades.
Only 1 team made no trades, Minnesota for the 3rd year in a row.
Carolina made 6 trades, 2 with Philly and 4 with NJ, and 3 of those 6 trades involved a player named Staal.
Now I'm going to start working on getting the ratings installed. This will definitely take me a few days.

Interesting that 1/3 of my trades were with Detroit and Vancouver.LOL

I started updating ratings tonight. Because of a change Simon made in the sim it's going to take me a little longer. When a player gets erased it would always say what team the player was from, now it just says erased. So with 200 players to look up and make sure they weren't erased mistakenly and then add to players under contract, it creates a little more work having to find what team the player got erased from.
I'm going to put in some solid time over the next few nights so I'm shooting for a late Friday night finish. If all goes well then everything should be done. New ratings, players added to under contract, players activated from under contract, prospects activated, free agent salaries and lists posted etc...
I know everyone is anxious but we're getting there!
