Things have been really busy lately... moved up to Powell River temporarily for school. Inexcusable to have an unknown player on my team for a playoff game, even if it was just a 4th liner. Sorry gents. He got hurt in your last game, Jake. All you have to do is re- insert him, or ask Jon to do it for you, if you can't. Perfectly legal.

Awesome series and season, Jake! Sadly, one of us had to exit. I honestly didn't anticipate winning this series. The Sharks were so unstoppable this year. Fitting that it was another 1 goal game to close out the series. THought it might be an OT game.
As a reward, get to go to Smashville. Great...lol...
Might have to insert horseshoes up players a$$es if I got any chance in hell at pulling this one out...

Congrats to Calgary, can't believe San Jose got knocked out of the series. Going to be a tough next round playing against you, I hope Bishop decides to show up. Good luck!

Really disappointed to go out so early after winning the Presidents... getting a NHL Washington Caps-esk reputation as I won the regular season last year too (big whoop).
After my bad start I had by far the best record in the league and decided to stand pat at the deadline. On November 28th after 20 games I was 13-6-1 and 3rd in my division. The last 62 games I went 48-11-3, a streak that eventually allowed me to pass Nashville. It seems like Ralph's major acquisitions of Giordano and Wheeler put him ahead towards the end. I should have gone out at the deadline and picked up a Jokinen or Eriksson type winger to replace Komarov who sucked all season and carried it into the playoffs.
Good series though Ralph! I think I got out GMed!
Onwards now, I expect to rebuild a bit next year.

A little disappointed my fellow GMs didn't recognize the amazing season John Carlson had for the Canucks with a Best Defenseman nomination. Playing for a mediocre team at best, he finished with 14 goals and 68 points to lead his team in scoring by 22 points! Not sure what else a guy has to do.

I really think GMs just go through the Individual Leaders page and lazily just select the top guys... Calder = 4 of the top 5 points leaders nominated Norris = 4 of the top 5 points leaders nominated Vezina = Top 4 SV% leaders nominated Hart = Top 3 points leaders nominated Konstantinov = Top 4 shots blocked leaders nominated

Carlson doesn't get much respect in NHL, and seemingly, in the J.

Some positive play in the OT loss. PP on fire of late, nice to come from behind to send it to OT. Other then that my 2nd line got hammered, we'll have to figure it out, too many shots against, tough losing in OT on home ice.

I guess it's good that the defensemen is willing to put his body on the line for the team, but on the other hand it also means the player is in his own end a lot and allowing shot attempts.

flames are just feasting! Not what I would have expected Dang! I have made a rookie like mistake though. The moment when you realize clicking on team logo from main page is not actual current team condition (wondered why everyone was staying at 100%!). Doh. Scheider fatigue level now may cost me the series. Live and learn.
