Crazy how big of a difference swapping Wheeler for Oshie has made.... Wheeler clearly has better ratings, but Oshie has been so much more productive. Since the trade, Bergeron's line has been +7 in the last 6 GP and the team is 5-1. Before the trade Bergeron was sitting at -6 through 19 GP. Hopefully these new lines keep rolling.
Not to mention that deal cleared the cap space needed to keep Marc Methot and Kyle Brodziak on the pro team... which isn't a big deal, but the improved depth helps.
Wheeler is also ripping it up for the Caps in the Eastern Conference too... seems like a win-win so far!
Now to just deal with every other line...

Yeah, my leading scorer is my 2nd line C with the 5th highest SC on the team. The sim is weird sometimes.

What a crazy game with Florida yesterday. 9-8 OT win. Exactly the way season is going for my young group!
High scoring while playing no defense! Having fun with this team especially offensively, now if I can get them to play defense.
Adding a small upgrade in goal, plus still young goalie in Michel Neuwirth! Possibly a little help, but geared more for future (hoping)

Penguins still showing that they can hang with the big kids, winning their last 3 games against the Leafs, Capitals, and Wild!

Playin our 5th gm today in 7 days, team getting a bit tired. Forced to use my back-up today against a pretty decent team, and cut some IT down for some good players. After today I finally get 2 days rest.

We just cannot beat FLA. Crow plays at his worst every time we play them.

Holtby has been a huge pain in my ass all season, what a pleasure it was to knock his ass out with 4 straight in the 1st period yesterday, and have the 4 goals stand-up. LOL

LOL Not looking forward to my two upcoming games against the Flyers in the very near future, Ray - on the 2nd day of back-to-back games on both occasions no less! You've got your team firing on all cylinders!

LOL I was hoping for a overall roll reversal from last season, the flyers were overall a pain in the ass to the rangers last season.

39 shots on goal, and I'm shutout. WTF.

Tough to see the winning streak come to an end against the Ducks with Quick stopping 37 of 38 shots! It was a good run and put my team back in the running. Even with that streak, Nashville hasn't slowed down and is still up 2 points for the league lead.

Even with that streak, Nashville hasn't slowed down and is still up 2 points for the league lead. Well, it was a tight game; and a rough one as well with a line brawl at the start of the second... At the end of it, the special team is what made the difference I think....
