Looks like the Wild and Blues had a line brawl, what a good ol' rivalry that is!

ugh I should have put Elliott back in. Major missed opportunity to take a 3 point lead on Nashville.

Seven in a row for the Cinderella Canucks!! Big game tomorrow against St. Louis. That will tell us if the dream for a playoff spot is just a dream or something that's actually achievable. You get another shot at us in a few days. Seems like only a year ago when we were battling for the west instead of the last playoff spot...

And I think the last spot is yours. I was only pretending to be a playoff contender for a couple of weeks.

I got other things on my mind besides league trades LOL. I think I'm playin my 2 biggest gms of the season, with Washington on the slate today and Boston tom. Homefield advantage could be at stake here, since I now trail Boston by 3pts., for the Conference lead, a lead I've had most of the season. I shook the lines up some today, so as to experiment a little bit for the playoffs. Smith will be coming back up and may get the call Friday against Wash in our 2nd gm of our home at home.

How to know your new defensive d-man worked out: You get a shutout, he is a +1, has 1 SB, and absolutely NO OTHER stats, lol.

My relatively minor acquisitions of Campbell and Silfverberg may be the only moves I make at this deadline after last years mess with Malkin. Campbell and Silfverberg will mainly see ice time on special teams, which has been my teams biggest weakness. Hopefully team chemistry doesn't get messed up. Kulikov is the odd man out now with Campbell in the picture.

Getting butt beat two games in the row just does not feel good but with goaltending I had all season simply amazed I done as well as we done!

Pleased with Rinne so far. Holds the favorite Preds to 2 goals and nice win against the Ducks. Don't need him to be Patrick Roy, just solid puck stopping and keeping it at 2-3 GAA will do, the offense should do the rest.

I swear Elliott tries to lose every game we play. Him and Schneider must have a scheme going against us, Jake - I feel the same way about Cory...
