That's a lot of nothing... Grossman isn't an NHL player anymore. Carle played 1 game last year, is 54 OV and makes 3 million. Those are the kind of players you hope you can give away. I guess I haven't paid much attention to these guys. I recognized the names but didn't realize they had fallen off the map so much, so nevermind I guess.

Seriously, this is the last time I'm going to say this and if you send a trade and don't inform me of the FA status your trade will be ignored!
If a 24 and Under or RFA is involved in a trade then please let me know in the trade submission PM so I can adjust the FA page on the website.

Those 10 mil contracts can be tough to move. TBH i would have expected it to cost a little more, as he is still a 1st line player, but I think the deal probably plays well for both sides

Agreed. Even further, regardless of caliber of player, a 10 mil contract can create negative value. If you're trying to fill out a competitive team, good luck with that on your cap. 1 year UFA deals can be manageable, but if we're talking younger guys, that tag will haunt Panera man for literally his entire jghl career, even when he's RFA.

My back was against the wall with Panarin...he went for less than I was originally wanting but with my cap room and list of RFAs to re-sign I had to get something done. Tampa has tons of cap room and even with his $10mill salary he's getting a youngish top 10 LW without giving up a lot.

Just make sure y'all know how to spell my name when you're metaphorically engraving my name onto the JGHL cup in 2020

Just make sure y'all know how to spell my name when you're metaphorically engraving my name onto the JGHL cup in 2020 Good luck! I'd be shocked if Breadman gets over 50p on Columbus though. BIG risk you're taking. Its not his fault, but without teammates to set him up, he isn't gonna do nearly as well, and CLB doesn't really have anyone to play with him that can make his game shine like Kane could on Chicago.

IDK, they have 3 pretty stellar forwards in Atkinson, Johansen and Wennberg... I would defintely take the over on 50 pts (assuming 82 games). I wouldnt want to pay him 10 mil, but hes going to be a clear top 6 player in the J IMO

Wennberg is the perfect compliment to Breadman, can set him up perfectly. Also CBJ was just outside the top 10 in Powerplay percentage, which could boost Panarin's number a bit. I think he will be just fine.

You got a point I guess, but I'm not completely convinced that CBJ will really hurt his numbers
