Trying to figure out how the hell we are still in the playoffs with a 4.88 power play! With the players on that PP one would think they be a pretty strong PP, but they seem to think the PP is part of a Figure Skating Competition and not for scoring goals. Horrible would be too nice! LOL

Tarasenko scores with 11 seconds left to tie it and then Jeff Carter wins it in overtime. All four games end 4-3 with the game tying or game-winning goal being scored in the finals minutes of three of the contests. This might be the best series I've ever been involved in.

It's definitely been entertaining so far! I was really hoping Smith could steal a win and hand a 3-1 series lead back to Ward I think it might be time for a big shake up in our forward line combos, our 3rd line is basically invisible. Also need to generate more shots, 22 shots in an overtime game is pretty sad. Who knows with adjustments, you fix one thing and break another lol

If we do not score a few PP, even thought 2-2 it is not going to work out well for us in the end! Washington too good of a team!

Haah.. double overtime loss... not going to lie, I was hoping that you were gonna put me out of my misery today Jim... I'd like to say good series, but it wasn't even that.. we couldn't make it one as this team didn't have what it needed to sustain itself... good luck moving forward
With a HUGE NUMBER of free agents likely to leave Florida this off season... the Panthers are going to look VERY different in the future.. we're excited to take this team in a different direction and will be and are open for business immediately.
We'll be watching the draft tonight with very keen interest

It was a lot closer than it looks. Good luck retooling and thanks for the well wishes.

Congrats on the win Jon. We were hoping to at least get to a seventh game, but the Avs were just too deep, Case in point with today's game where the third line, which had been playing well, went -3, allowing all three of the even strength Colorado goals. Good luck the rest of the way!

Wow! What a rough series with Washington! It was tough right down to the wire. Congrats to Greg on a great season and an amazingly tough series. Your PK just shut us down. Not sure how the hell we survived with horrific PP and not great PK in playoffs but especially shutdown completely by Washington!
If we do not get PP going against Boston, it will be a 4-0 loser for us! Need to find a way to got special teams working at least close what we were during season which was not great but 18. whatever is better then 3.85. Will need those goals to have a chance!
Congrats again to Greg! Had me sweating like my last series with Pittsburgh!
I do like the fact that we did not give up a shot on goal the last 3 :12 in 3rd!

My last lines shuffle really worked out, especially the special teams which I think was the deciding factor in the series.

What. A. Series. Joe, congrats man on an awesome season. We did our best to try and blow the most dangerous lead in hockey in Game 7 (up 4-1, won 4-3), but managed somehow to withstand the surge. Wasn't super confident after losing Game 6, but give my boys credit for showing up for (most of) Game 7. Pretty crazy that you have the 1st & 3rd ranked goalies in GAA and still lost! I did switch up my PP a bit and went 1 for 2, but gave up 6 PPs to you.
Best of luck to all conference finalists. The Road to Lord Stanley's Cup certainly doesn't get any easier!

Great series Chris and Joe, two powerhouses going at it right up until the last horn. Sucks that someone had to go out.
Here's to two ultra competitive conference finals. Good luck to all four teams. Personally cheering for coach. I'm a sucker for new champions, and he's the jghl caps. That said Chris looks poised to get back on top after a loooong layoff from his 3 peat. Should be fun!

Your Flames were my pick to win the Cup at the start of the season, and nothing I've seen has changed my mind. Of course there are 3 other pretty powerful teams left, as well, so anything that happens from here on in wouldn't surprise me. Probably should have had enough guts to start Mason over a slightly tired Talbot, but who knows if that would have made any difference. Bottom line, the best team, but just by a tick, won the series. We will be looking for revenge in 2018-2019! Overall it was a great bounce back season for the Canucks, after completing a quick rebuild on the fly. We plan to be contenders next year and beyond as well. We have some great young players in the pipeline who should be ready for prime time in the next year or two to supplement what we feel is a solid core. Good look to the four great teams still in contention.
