Hard fought series, Greg. Always tough to win 3 in a row, even tougher against a real good team, with a wise GM. You can pack your bags for Pittsburgh buddy, you earned it. Good Luck the rest of the way.

Two HUGE game 7s today. Can the Kings do the unthinkable and take down one of the cup favorites on their home ice? Can the Canucks battle back from a 3-1 deficit and take down a division nemesis? Do I like asking hypothetical questions? Stay tuned to find out at 6.

We're sitting back with buckets of popcorn hoping both games go into quadruple overtime! ; )

Hats off to the Kings. Hopefully something they can build on into next season. With some upgrades that can be a contender in the west, of all places. Also sympathies to Joe, because it's cruel fate to have to face SJ in the first round. Two damn good rosters.

So close and yet so far. Dammit, I guess itโs time to rebuild again. Itโs only been 15 years, I still got some time... SMH, good luck Nash, youโd better take it this year buddy.

Iโm as surprised as anyone to make it passed Vancouver and was almost expecting a game 7 loss. That series beat up both teams. At least one game where some guys got over 40 minutes of ice time. Well fought!
Alas it may all be for nothing looking who we are now up against in round 2.

Don't sell yourself short Jake, you have a pretty deadly team. I'm in the minority based on predictions but I see Chris as the slight underdog here.

It was only a late season surge that gave me home ice advantage in this one. Sharky has an advantage in starting goalie, a crazy good D core, with 3 insane forward lines, not to mention playoff dynamite producer Patrice Bergeron. Should be fun!

Congrats to Jake and the Sharks on a great series and best of luck in round two. It's a testament to the strength of the Pacific Division that you can finish 3 points out of 1st place overall and not really be that surprised about losing in the 1st round. San Jose / Calgary should be a great series. The Canucks will be back in 2019-20!

Well Patrice Bergeron sure is having himself a good playoff run.

Well Patrice Bergeron sure is having himself a good playoff run. Yup - hence my previous comment about why the Sharks mean scary waters for the Flames in the 2nd rnd. Already lost home ice advantage and couldn't take advantage of John Gibson & Hedman down a point on "CON". Hopefully we'll stick around to make this a challenging series, but rough start. After Bobrovsky rescuing us in the 1st rnd after some shaky starts by Vasilevskiy, we're going back to the other Russian to see if he can get back to his stellar form when he came to Calgary from Detroit and closed out the season undefeated. (Only wish there was an option in the GM Editor strategy to "Mob Bergeron x 60 minutes" : )

Meanwhile I am concerned as Bergeron is the only reason I got passed the canucks and his production is just not sustainable!
That being said he is a guaranteed 10 million dollar player next year. Stay in SJ Patrice!!

For some reason being up 2-0 doesn't give me much security. Seen too many series leads swing in the other direction in the sim. Otherwise pretty happy with the balanced attack, shutting down that Boston 1st line, and solid puck stopping from flower. I think rolling out 4 strong lines has caused problems for the top heavy Bruins. Aaaaand now that I wrote that Boston will go on to win 3 straight with Marchand scoring a hat trick in each of them lols.

Good battle Jim, I'm sure we'll meet again.
Now the matchup I anticipated all season, the good ol friendly neighborhood Penguins. I'm ready for a barn burner. Going to put sliders on 5-0-0 and make some injuries happen, give me a hell yea! Ovi you're first bruddah, nothing easyyyy
