I'm having trouble finding position changes for any of my players on the listed sites, does anyone have any tips? Tsn is the best imo.

www.tsn.ca/nhl Where it says NHL Click on - more - then click players, find their name and click it. You can also click on teams, if you know what team they are on, find their name and click it. Here is an example - I used Domi he's listed C/LW Make sure you use www. before tsn www.tsn.ca/nhl/player-bio/max-domi

With the amounts of "None", is there even a point to having RFA resigns anymore? I know it's a nice to have option, but I don't believe we've had anyone use it in years now (could be wrong though)

I know it's a nice to have option, but I don't believe we've had anyone use it in years now (could be wrong though) think i'm one of the few that's used it a couple times over the years (Toews, Subban, I think, when I thought I was ripe for the pickings at the time - think I got scared by rumblings that some offer sheets were going to be floating around haha); think you're right, Eug overall - doesn't seem to be used a ton

I prefer to have the option. I have used it in the past, when I felt it may be needed.

The automatic raise is rarely worth it.

I think it's nice to have the option to sign one of your guys and not let anyone be able to put down an offer on him.

The compensation system is currently structured in a way that makes it pretty unnecessary. Most players that are good are already at a salary point where compensation is difficult to even have in the first place or their offer sheet raise would be less than the cost of the automatic raise because the next "level" of compensation is just beyond that teams comp or possibly not worth it.
I agree its mostly pointless and wouldn't mind getting rid of it entirely.
Lets take my player Zibanejad.
He'll start at 6m. The 25% increase would put him at 7.5m. His max salary at his starting compensation is 6.49m, so unless someone wants to jump up to the next level of comp, which the vast majority of the league cannot do...its likely still cheaper to let someone try an offer sheet rather than auto re-sign him.

I donโt really see the point in getting rid of it either, it doesnโt seem like a lot of work or anything?

I mean it would actually save time by having us not have to wait for everyone to write none for the optional resigns wouldnt it? Get us to the FA sooner.

Like NHL every once in awhile an offer is made and every knce in a while someone will get signed. When it comes to time, Jon needs time to do what he does and not be rushed. I say keep it!

Free agency will be closing Tuesday night at 10PM(EST). So if you have any remaining RFAs you want to re-sign I suggest getting on them asap! Tuesday at 10PM(EST) any remaining unsigned RFAs will be removed from your team and added to the unassigned list, no exceptions. jghl.proboards.com/thread/9121/fa-cap-room-roster-count

The remaining UFAs will stay open until they go an entire day without a bid. Once they go 1 entire day without a bid then they will be signed and closed.
