Great series Ray, took every game and then some overtime to get passed you. The games against the Flyers are always competitive. Didn't expect this as I thought for sure the sim would favor the team with home ice advantage. Rematch with the Leafs next, I'm already amped up thinking about it, although if I win more than 1 game I'll be surprised. You deserved it Mike, you out smarted me, by making me think too much. Great job of GMing, even though I had home ice, I didn't want to see a long series cause of how evenly we matched up. Good luck in the next round, could be another barn burner. I'm sure you got Eug's attention knocking me out

The Battle of Pennsylvania was one of the best series to follow! Well done both lads! The crafty veteran Ray almost pulled it out; in the end, the Pens learned enough from last yr's glorious run to get it done, but it really could have went either way.

As for my Flames, switching more stuff up for Game 7 - hopefully haven't overthought/overdone it with switching things around - Joe's President Trophy Nucks strong play have kept me off balance after first 2 games of the series. Let's see if the battle of Western Canada holds up to the battle of Pennsylvania in entertainment...

Great series guys, couldn't have been any closer. Now Chris gets to relax a bit with Nashville in town.
Excited for my chance at succulent revenge against the Pens, who won last year in 7. Kopitar should also have a few words for his former team. If you don't like this, you don't like jghl basketball.

Great series, Chris. There certainly wasn't any home ice advantage in the series. I think the home team was 0-7. Good luck in the next round and bring it home for the Pacific Division.

Woah, just back from mountain biking to see this result - honestly and seriously not the result I was suspecting. But it obviously could have went either way - and going well into the 1st OT proved that. Fredrik played a helluva game 7. It was surprisingly Nucks lowest shot count in the series - thankfully for me, Vas has something left in the tank to start the next series. Congrats, Joe on one hell of a season - there were many super strong teams this season, but none could reel you in for the President's Trophy. An impressive run, to say the least. Well, hope I can represent for sure. Jake & the Sharks and now you and the notorious 'Nucks finished in the top 3 with us Flames in the league from same Pacific Division - and to have done battle with each other in the first 2 rounds - insanity! That's alright, at least we get to rest up and the next round can't be nearly as...wait, what's that now!? * GM CRalph checks standings tree* F%&k. Next Up: The pesky Preds - 4th overall in the JGHL in the regular season! Let's do that hockey.

Oh, and Jake can maybe confirm, but yeah, Joe, our series, the home squad went 0-7! Un-f*cking-believable. Well, in my opening round with Jake and the Sharks, home squad went 7-0. Go figure!

Game 1 Wild West Conference Final unsung hero: Luke Glendening - damn, Cool Hand Luke went 4 for 4 in faceoff circle in last minute of play against Point & Wheeler to stymie any attack Flames had going, as we outshot Preds 19-4 in the period.

Really gonna miss this version of Monahan next year when heโs my 4th line center.

At this point I'm praying I don't get swept.

Don't get me wrong, I completely understand Eug has the better lineup this year and will most likely go to the Finals, but damn that 2-1 loss at HOME really hurts. Rinne hasn't been the best so in the games that he does somehow remember how to play goalie, we have to at least score more than 1 goal.
I'm honestly thinking about putting the Mackinnon/Panarin/Anderson line to 75-90% play time just to have a chance.

That game was also Kuemper's best since game 2 of 1st round, so they both decided to show up. Man just looking at goalie stats chart, it's really not their season. That or teams have gotten deeper. Last year Lundqvist led the way with .910% and 2.39gaa and no one is even close to that this year.

Good series Mike, this makes us 1-1. I know this was a retooling year for you so to get this far speaks to your raw GM skills, and cahones to try new strategies.
Happy to get back to the finals. This definitely isnโt my best team statistically as the team stats page would indicate, but they pull off wins. Now letโs see 7 games, some triple overtimes, and some injuries on the west side:)
