When Liam took over the Sabres the roster was completely a mess. This was partly my fault as I autoed it previously but did not realize there were 9D dressed and playing, and only 9F. So as a one-time exception I told him he could send some players down to the farm without the risk of anyone claiming them.
They will still make full salary since they played in over 20-games, but nobody can claim them. I didn't think it was fair that he had to drop someone or risk losing someone to waivers for a mistake I made, when he just took over the team. I'm sure (and would hope) everyone understands.

Makes complete sense to me! He shouldn't be penalized because there wasn't an owner. Plus I don't think anybody expected the team to be fully functional while ownerless!

I'm absolutely behind even allowing him to farm the players. It's not his fault.

Totally on board with this as well - makes good sense - well played, Jon.
