βLike sands through the hourglass, so are the days of our lives.β And and like Groundhog Day, the same shit keeps repeating itself... This evening, before I left work, we were informed that there was a second Coronavirus case, albeit presumptive; the person is waiting to be tested, but as all the symptoms. Management still refuses to allow us to work from home. But we found out that as of yesterday, they close a port of entry because someone at the port tested positive. Gotta love the double standards in the government... Employers are too afraid to close down their business and are too close minded to allow people to work from home which is putting alot of people at risk right now. I work in HR and have had people come up to me asking to be laid off from work because they knew if they weren't they would have to stay working at the risk of getting either themselves or their families sick, and some people aren't willing to risk it.

Sorry to hear, Coach. Working at the cancer centre through these strange times, unfortunately these types of stories we're seeing too. Super tough when it hits close to home. My condolences, my friend
