hey fellas,
any players/prospects actually playing from your squad that have you excited (or disappointed)?
GM Hack: Though it's more and more annoying with adds, I use Elite Prospects site, created an account and "bookmarked" my JGHL players and prospects to more easily track how they are doing. Anyone else do anything like this on EP or a different site?
I actually contacted owner of HockeyDB and he has considered but he said difficult to implement but thinking about it.
*** Flames Overseas, a sample:
Jonatan Berggren (F) 20 P in 18 GP Albert Johansson (D) 6 P in 17 GP (but some really cool highlights)
Aleksi Saarela (F) 1997 Lukko Liiga: 14GP 10 5 15 Vili Saarijärvi (D) 1997 Lukko Liiga: 14GP 5 8 13
Arseni Gritsyuk (F) 2001 Omskie Yastreby MHL 6 4 5 9 ^invite to Russian WJC squad
Martin Pospisil (F) 1999 HC Kosice Slovakia 11GP 7G 2A 9P 54PIM!
Jesper Lindgren (D) 1997 MODO Hockey HockeyAllsvenskan 14 0 9 9 2
Nils Lundkvist (D) 7 P in 14 GP, a bit underwhelming for him
WJC Team Canada scrimmage: Peyton Krebs (F) looked dangerous

Wings on loan:
Andersson: 9-2-4-6 in SHL (hopeful for a rebound with LA)
Chlapik: 3-1-0-1 in Czech League
Texier: Yet to play in French League
Balcers: 8-4-5-9 playing with Stravanger
Tolvanen: 17-3-6-9 with Jokerit (needs to be good this season or hes probably done in the NHL)
Honka: 6-2-4-6 in Liiga, watching him with interest to see if maybe he turns it around, but ship probably sailed.
Brannstrom: 8-2-5-7 in Swiss National League. Promising line to start, should be competing for a spot on Ottawa's "Defense" this season.
Eriksson: 13-0-3-3 in SHL, needs more time in the bigs.
Heponiemi: 14-4-8-12 in Swedish 2nd league. Never had a problem scoring in Europe, needs to bring that over to NA sooner rather than later.
Ylonen: 17-3-1-4 in Liiga, havnt paid much attention to his play, hopefully these numbers just mean hes low in the lineup and wont effect his confidence in what was to be his first season in NA.
Dahlen: 9-7-12-19 in Swedish 2nd League. has proven himself in lower euro leagues, just not proving enough to get to the bigs i guess, running out of time to make it to NA.
Brook: Yet to suit up in DEL.
Kaut: 4-3-1-4 in Swedish 2nd League.
Hoglander: 14-2-7-9 in SHL, excited to see what he will bring to NA.
Lavoie: 17-7-3-10 in Swedish 2nd League. Good showing in first taste of pro hockey.
Asplund: 14-4-5-9 in Swedish 2nd League. Played more in the NHL last season than he should have, needs more seasoning in AHL
Madden: Yet to play in DEL
Gustavsson: 15-9-2.19-.926 decent stats, should be a good confidence boost if he heads back to the AHL this season
Lots of guys with the potential to stick in Europe for the year. im excited to see where guys like Studnika, Madden, Rathbone and Byram shake down this season.
with a couple more 1sts this coming draft The Wings are getting closer to icing a dangerous lineup!

Great news for the JGHL Isles their star prospect Kirby Dach has been named captain for team Canada at the WJHC!
Along with being the captain he is playing on the top line and PP unit, as well as being one of the favourites for player of the tournament.
The organization is very excited to see his performance at this tournament!
Now just let me read this tweet from Bob McKenzie that I am sure is nothing but more praise for Dach....
