Im just as depressed about this probably upcoming run of dominance as anyone, but i dont see how anyone can stop chris. I thought Joe had the best chance of taking him out, and that was 2 series ago! Which is to say nothing of the incredible Devils run. I would like nothing more than to be dead wrong and for ron to lift his first cup (no offence chris).

This is nuts lol. The only position where Chris has a clear advantage is in net. Offense in the sim is fickle, it's really about which core ratings click together. Both have three players 79SC and above. Chris has more playmakers, but Ron has some key 2 way forwards. D is more or less a wash, but I still stand by the Devils having the best core in the league. Most people had Nashville beating Boston handily last season, myself included. James had better ratings across the board, including Bishop>>>Fleury, and Jim won in 6. Not everything is always a basic formula in STHS, as much as some might want/expect. There is a degree of "rock/paper/scissors" with the sliders and line combos that make this thing of ours fun and unpredictable.

I think Chris top stars give chris the advantage, even though the overall depth of their teams is similar. Scheifle, Oreilly, Wheeler is a crazy line, capable of scoring a ton while not letting up goals. Overtime in Game 1 already, this could end up being a series for the ages, even if it does end in 5

Coach G showing why he won the President's Trophy and made it through the tough East. Oh, and that would be a nice line, but they don't actually play together in the J. ; )
