Congrats and thanks to everyone for making it another successful season!
As always the offseason can be a little slow. You are free to make "handshake" deals but nothing can be submitted until the new ratings are updated and installed. Also please realize that the league will not enforce any "handshake" deals that one party decided to back out of.
I'm leaving tomorrow to go on vacation for about a week. Jake and I (really Jake) have the ratings just about done, there are just a few minor adjustments that need to be made. When I get home from vacation I will post the ratings for everyone to see where their players are at, and I will also run the entry draft so teams can start trading.
Soon after I get back I have updates to do to the website, catalog the season and make a crapload of trophies and banners. After that it will be installing new ratings etc...
Trophy voting results will be posted Monday night.
That's really about it for now and I'll keep everyone updated as things move along, thanks again to everyone for another great season!

Hey sorry, all my flights got delayed today so it was a long, crappy day of travel and I just got to my hotel. So I will post trophy results sometime Tuesday night, promise!

Not a ton of surprises in the trophy voting. Always happy to see a D win the Hart, though. Getting 92 pts from the blue line is always going to boost the O and make other teams pay for making bad passes.
Really happy to take home a trophy in an otherwise down year though!

The biggest surprise for me is Cam Atkinson not winning the Conn Smythe, even in a losing effort. His numbers were off the charts and kept the Devils in every series.
Seeing all these trophies and none with a maple leaf beside them makes me kind of jealous. With that, next year is going to be different. At the very least I want that Rob Brown cup.

Agree, I thought Atkinson was a shoe in.

I actually thought Cam the Man, The Amazing Atkinson would win the Conn Smythe as well, to be honest. To Blake's credit though, he was a consistent monster for the Flames, especially in the Finals. He did also have a higher Pts per 20 minutes - 1.17 vs 1.04, for what that's worth. (and ever so slightly higher pts per gm - 1.12 vs 1.10! : ) {yeah, I know, reaching with 2 decimal places, haha}
