Thank you press for gathering on this cold, snowy, shitty Thursday in Toronto. Our announcement should surely warm you up. I'd like to welcome back an old friend to the organization, Keith Michael Yandle. We also wish the best of luck to Brodie, unfortunately there was only room for one TJ on the roster.
For those that don't know, Yands was a key part of our 2011-12 D core that helped bring home our first and only cup. Playing on the top pairing and PP unit as a 25 year old kid, he put up 16 points in 24 playoff games. Fast forward 7 years, and he does the same for those swindling, sneaky Penguins, putting up 16 points in 26 games to lead them to their first cup.
After a frustrating, hair-pulling, back and forth, month-long discussion with said Penguins, we reached a deal to bring Yands back for another run. The price was high, but we knew what we were getting - elite puck mover, premium PP QB, a leader, and genuinely one of the funniest guys in the league. The term "glue guy" gets thrown around a lot, but he's truly a difference maker on and off the ice.
He may not be here for a long time, but he's here for a good time. Welcome back Yands, we missed ya bud.

I already miss him so much that it hurts. Take good care of Yands - truly a locker room guy.
