What is happening with the Vancouver Canucks lately, 7 straight wins and threatening to be in the top 3 in the Pacific! Meanwhile in the eastern conference we have quite a battle for the top draft pick with 5 teams combining for a 20 game losing streak, albeit the Bruins look to be securing the spot. The Toronto Maple Leafs definitely more invigorated after GM Eugene threatened everyone on the team with trades, and they respond with an 11 game win streak and the top position in all the J. How about those Detroit Redwings... starting the season with 11-14 record and then turning up the heat by going 15-5 in the last 20 to move into 2nd place in the Central division with the youngest average age in the J ( 24.6 yrs ) . Gm Graham of the Rangers has to be over the moon at the play and leadership of rookie sensation Adam Fox ( 8-37 45 pts in 46 games ) who he hopes will lead the squad past the 1st round of the playoffs this season. The Pacific Division is one of the tightest this season with 5 teams shuffling between playoff spots and wildcards, look to the reason of the season to be exciting in this race ! Meanwhile in the Central it is a back and forth with the Jets and Blackhawks flip flopping between making it in the post season or out, with the Hawks having games in hand it looks like theirs to win or lose.

I really appreciate you taking the focus off of my losing streak Loved the write up!

The sharks have gone ice cold lately and blown a big chunk of our games-in-hand. Now fighting for a playoff spot.

Now that was asskicking. I think both my goalies and whole team decided they needed a day off. They defintely did not show up today.

Playing Montreal 3 games in a row is not what we need right now in a tight playoff race
