Quite the race in the West. Check out the streaks for the top five teams in the West. Yeah, even the team in seventh is 8-1-1 in their last 10 and is on a three-game winning streak... You'd think that 0-4 record against the Blues would make you remember us, but I guess not.

We have to keep winning. One loss and you're in the 4th/5th seed in no time. I wish I had that problem. Playin musical playoff spots with the Isles for weeks now, havin to sweat every game is gettin to me, I'm wearin out. I'm sure you remember what that's like, from last season, Eddie. Yeah...worring about 2nd is a lot more fun than worring about 8th ;D

Someone's streak will end tomorrow, Colorado or Edmonton. My money is on Edmonton losing the streak. Colorado is a much better squad. Nice to see the Eriksson, Zajac, Talbot line put up a -1 in their six minutes today. Probably -3 tomorrow.

Three shoot out losses in a row.... getting 5th place would be great since we might have a chance at winning a round, but right now its not looking good.

It is againest the rules to use the same D-man, on 3 different lines, yet I see some team line-ups, with the same D-man on their 1st - 2nd and third lines, not to mention doubled on their special teams. I assume that it has something to do with teams not sending in lines, and the software auto lines. It's real easy to see, since it's the last 2 teams in the league and has been this way for a while. One of those teams have a 2 game winning streak. If these guys don't fix this, someone should. Washington - Steve Montador 1st -2nd -3rd line - also on both PK lines. Vancouver- Jack Johnson 1st - 3rd - 4th line My thoughts in pointing this out, are not meant to start a problem, but rather to avoid one.

When I see stuff like that, it makes me think they are trying to lose.

Holy crap! I finally get to play a game, with one game played since trade deadline and 1 in 7 or 8 days, was getting annoying!
The sad thing is my schedule is not very good over last 11 games, with all games versus playoff teams ( as of right now) with only 2 games against 2 #8 seeds, but one #8 is playing really well right now, so it will be tough.
Every game will seem like a playoff game to us since we have lost 11 out of 16 over the last month or so.
Hopefully the trades and chemistry will come together in time to stay in playoff race. We have come back to pack for last few spots in playoff race with poor performance over last month!

Thats four shoot out losses in a row... wtf... changing shoot out line up. You think Staal, Parise or Arnott could pot one goal in 12 tries combined...

Hard fought win vs the Habs in shootouts. Pens finally take over 1st in the East. Will try to hold on for the rest of the season!

Game 917 - Nathan Robinson from Sloths is injured (Flu) and is out for 2 months.
Never thought that was a possibility, that must be some sickness, I heard it might be AIDS.

You beat me to it Mike, I was just about to mention that and saw your post. In all my 6 seasons, I think that injury gets 1st. Prize, as the most interesting I've ever seen. I wasn't sure I was reading it right, at first.
