What is the league's status?? At this time we are in holding pattern until Jon finds a soft landing area which will provide a sleeping, eating and hanging out areas. LOL

We are soon to return upon Jon's arrival, which hopefully won't be too long now.

Sad to see Calgary and Tampa Bay go in first round. But I liked the winners for all the other series.

We played like shit. This team was the exact opposite of the 2004 team. We lacked heart.
I don't know who to cheer for. I considered the Oilers, since they played alot of good hockey, but couldn't do it. Now I'm thinking the Devils.

Since for like, the last 5-6 series now, the Finals have always been a high seed from 1 side against a fairly low seed from the opposite side.
Ottawa vs Edmonton in the Finals, Ottawa beats them in 4. Hello History, welcome back!

If the organization doesn't realize by now that we need some real offense to go with Iggy, we're in big trouble...also disappointed in Hamrlik's play - he was so steady & added extra offense when healthy in the regular season, and his bad play projected to Phaneuf as well... Cheering for a team??? Who the f^&k can I cheer for now??? I'll guess it'll have to be Ottawa, though I'm sure they'll find a way to screw up...I'd attempt cheering for EDM, but can't bring myself to it...lol... disgruntled & in disbelief... Flame is officially.....OUT!!!

I was ready to post yesterday that it was amazing that in the east the top 4 seeds moved on, while in west the bottom 4 seeds were moving on, but I knew there were Calgary fans here, serious ones and did not want to give them any more anxiety. But last night's game you did not have chance to be anxious because they were never in the game.
Too bad guys!
So make the the picks for the next round to keep things moving here or to get things moving.
I will start a new thread - Quarteffinals PICKS!!!

I'm proud of ya, Ralphie. I was the only person at a party full of Flames fans cheering for the Lightning in 2004. No way was I cheering for the Flames.
Though I will admit, I did cheer for them in Game 7 of this past series. I thought they would be a walk in the park compared with San Jose. After one game, I look like genius. But, I hope I end up looking like a fool.

I'm cheering for Buffalo to go all the way, although I didn't think they'd get pass Ottawa. (When I was a kid my favourite three teams were Toronto, Buffalo and New York Islanders. They all wore blue back then. lol) Anahiem is surprising me, I was routing for Colorado there. Was hoping Edmonton would pull it off, but that's looking tough. Thought Brodeur and the boys would get her done over the Canes, but again, looking tough.
So out of the teams I thought would win this round, only the Sharks are currently living up to expectations. 1 for 4
And out of the teams I wanted to win this round, only the Sabres are currently living up to expectations. 1 for 4 again
