Only because I hate ties.
I'm not a fan of the shootout at all, but to me its the lesser of two evils (between shootouts and tie games). I wish the NHL could think of another solution. I don't think continuous OT should be brought in because its one of those things that make the playoffs special and that might be ruined if it happens every other night.

We discussed this once before, I think it was last season. That requires a different Software, that Jon said had some draw backs if I remember correctly.

What kind of drawbacks? Buggy ones?

It really doesn't matter, because there are no shootouts in any FHL software.

I remember what it was now. We had discussed getting a pt. for an OT loss, and that required different software that Jon heard pros and cons about.

Oh well...I was just creating conversation after reading an article in Yahoo sports where they rated the top shootout artist which included Dallas Star in both the NHL and JGHL, Jussi Jokenen. It also happened the Dallas/Columbus game that night on VS. went to a shootout.

Where Jokinen didn't score. And Nilsson on the Oilers tried the Jokinen move and didn't score either.
