Not sure how many guys still come around here, but does anyone think this is weird? Gomez and St.Louis tied for the assist lead last season, yet Gomez's PA is 83 and St. Louis' is 87. Very strange... 4 points is alot.

I saw 23 once, back in 69. Gavin is the baby of the family, with one sister turning 35, and the other turning 30 this year. Chris [Calg] sends Ron[NJ] and I an ocassional E-mail and titled the last one "Hey Old Timers" LOL haven't a clue what he means.

LOL Heck, I bet that St. Patty's day 23 yrs ago was a heck of party for pa, with baby boy coming day before. He was proud pa and an irishman for that one day a year. Enjoy the bday Gavin!

Very strange... 4 points is alot. I think the fact that Gomez is a Center, would have some effect on that. Modano PA 74 Hossa PA 82 Modano 50 assists Hossa 49 last season. Same line just like Gomez and St.Louis. Any center passing to the likes of St.Louis or Hossa I would say should be assist heavy LOL Of the 3 forwards on my 1st line this season Roenick is the assist leader and has the lowest pa of the 3. Nice to have Nagy on one side and Hossa on the other.

Well here's to a spectacular upcoming St Patty's Day & Gavin's BDay!!! Also guys, let's see if we can't keep the message board more & more active during the "shutdown" - be a shame to see this league dwindle away... Flames have some big big names on the trade block!!! Strike up some trade talks! On another note, the passing of Kirby Puckett is a sad day for sports world, especially Minnesota. He was a heart & soul player - not exactly an athlete's body, but could this guy play...RIP Kirby........ And a final topic - what does everyone think of the World Baseball Classic - I was 1st not even interested, but found myself yesterday watching Dom Rep VS Venezuala, where Ortiz & the DOm Rep put on an offensive display!!! Cheers Chris

Cheers Chris I started gettin into it, and watched that game too. I tuned in just in time to see a Cub pitcher give up a 3-run homer, go figure LOL Baseball is supposed to be our National past-time, and losing that badly to Canada yesterday, was a tough pill to swallow. Now I know what it feels like to you Canadians to lose to the U.S. at Hockey LOL

Very strange... 4 points is alot. OK, I getcha now, you were talking about the assists they both had in the NHL were equal, yet one is rated higher then the other. Maybe the playoffs had something to do with that.
