Overall the new rating look good and well balanced.....BUT in what parallel universe is Vokoun rated higher than Luongo??? Luongo had a strong year stat wise and he actually went down in ratings?? That is hard to believe!!!

That is hard to believe!!! Well, Luongo did have more wins. But other than that... Luongo GAA = 2.57 Vokoun GAA = 2.55 Luongo SV% = .913 Vokoun SV% = .925 Luongo Shutouts = 4 Vokoun Shutouts = 7 Also Vokoun played in only 5 less games but faced 166 more shots. I don't know how they calculate their ratings, but Vokoun does have the better stats. As for Luongo dropping, he played in 14 more games than the previous year, but had 5 less shutouts, only had 7 more wins, SV% went from .920 to .913, and GAA went from 2.34 to 2.57 I wouldn't have expected his numbers to go up

I hear ya, I don't think he should have gone up, but maybe stayed the same.
Also Luongo had 17 more wins than Vokoun. I was just saying that no way Vokoun should be rated higher than Luongo, not that Luongo should be rated higher than he is already.

How many times was old LOU pulled this season btw? I count 7. Also, he may have had 40 wins this season, but his win ratio is 1.666. Raycroft may have only played in 21 games (14 with a W/L), but his 9/5 puts him at 1.8 Obviously Raycrofts sample base is too small, but I'm pretty sure any decent goalie would put up Loungo's numbers behind that team last year. Plus, Loungo was terrible in the playoffs. Sorry Kevin, not bashing on you He deserves the drop in ratings.

OK, I will agree with you and say maybe he deserved the 2 point drop. But the point I wanted to make was that Voukoun DOES NOT deserve to be rated higher than Luongo on stats and previous seasons coming in.

Save % and shutouts are huge for goalie ratings. U can have 20 wins less but if your save percentage is .20 higher, u get better ratings. Nothing wrong with bobby's ratings, he didn't have a great season.

My complaint is not that Luongo's ratings should be higher, it's that Vokoun is higher than his. Nothing can be done, it's just something that is being pointed out.

based on Luongo and Vokouns numbers, Chris Mason could have been a point or two higher, but he SO are far less but still numbers a almost as good in some areas or even better. I guess it is what it is!
