Congrats on your tank job Buff, you got what you wanted. We vote on trades, but let each other tank.
Yes, these grapes are sour, and this is all that I'll say on the topic.

Seguin and Hall are pretty equal talent wise, so those grapes shouldn't be TOO sour.
How would you end "tanking"?

Col had more wins, so the team with the worst record won as it should be. The 1-2 picks are pretty close talent wise.

I dont think thats the point Darren is trying to make.. regardless of what the talent pool is, tanking is tanking.. but i dont think its a problem you can really fix.... unless you play with the odds... for its a problem that most sports hvae... except for basketball, because they do play with their odds a little more..

I know exactly what Darren was talking about, but tanking is one thing rebuilding another IMO so I didn't really address his comment, it's his opinion. I see nothin wrong with rebuilding your team for the future. Tanking is when you get nothin in return worth while and you leave the league, like the former Rangers for example.

Based on what buff had this season, was it a surprise that he was in the basement? No. But when you trade away thornton, kipper, spezza, tanguay etc etc what do you expect will happen? 5 first rd picks though is pretty sweet so i'll have to agree with philly and call this one rebuilding.

I still think that tanking is a bad sportsmanship and that there are better ways of rebuilding. I don't believe that trading away all of your good players for picks and prospects is tanking, that's rebuilding. But as soon as you start playing a terrible goalie over a star goalie, hoping that you will lose, IMO that's crossing the line. Trade whoever you want, but at least keep your remaining good players on the ice. Tanking is just not a respectable thing to do.

Maybe just a wild guess here, but I think Darren's pissed about losing out on the Oilers' first ever number one pick, not that there is much difference in future potential between Hall and Seguin.
And to Jas, if you're going to use vulgar words that are synonymous to poo, please bleep them out.
