Even if Grimaldi was a little bit of a stretch at 19, you gotta love getting 10 @ 18!

Adam, I'll admit Grimaldi was a bit of a gamble at 19...I know he's only 5'6" but maybe he's the next Marty St. Louis...or not...lol. But Brodin at 18 was sweet!!

I was hoping to grab Grimaldi with one of my next 2 picks. The nice thing about having multiple picks is it is easier to take that risk. I think you made two great picks.

Sorry Ray was reading about him a big chunk of my day today at work, and fell in love. Was close to being forced to take TJ Miller with him still there but had to go with my gut. And Steve Y's lol.

Its a great pickup Eug! I've been high on this guy for months now, and if I was a lower pick, I would have taken him without a 2nd thought. I felt he should have went higher in the NHL, and I'm sure he'll thrive under Stevie Y.

I was set to take him at 23 and had to scramble a bit to make my choice when he was gone.

Have there been any other players Grimaldi's size who have been drafted in the first round recently?
