Wow in looking at divisions and their set-up and this is early look: This is just an observation/opinion. Make your own and reasoning. Not sure of names of divisions so we will go with what is posted.
Detroit looks like the leader of the Northern with a couple to add some pressure on the Red Wings
Chicago is southern but only slightly, couple of teams that will definitely not make it easy. Could be last week of games to determine
Pacific is too closed for me with Toronto and Calgary on top but Boston and now Nashville could push both teams. Might be the strongest divsiion of all
Mid-West looks like it could be a runaway as San Jose looks way too powerful for all the others in that division.

Northern: Will be a tight race between Detroit, Philly and Edmonton. The Blues may challenge too. I'll go with Detroit.
Southern: Again, tight race between several teams. Washington, Chicago and New Jersey all have really good teams. I'll go with Chicago by a hair.
Pacific: (aka the contenders only division). Nashville, Boston, Calgary, and Toronto are all elite. It's a toss up between Calgary and Nashville... I'll go with Nashville... although the Malkin/Datsyuk/Neal trio could propel Calgary ahead.
I don't like making predictions for my own team. Florida deserves from credit, Kevin's team is young, but is also rated fairly well this season.

Detroit Chicago San Jose Calgary
I think these are the division winners, for Detroit and Calgary, it won't come easy.

I'd also like to think that I'm not done adding some fire power up front! We'll see..
