With only a few games to go, a lot of stuff still has to play out..... Who will win the North, Toronto or Jersey? Who will win the South, Philly or Wash? Who will win the Pacific, Colorado or SJ? Who will get the last spot in the East, Pitt or Isles? Which 3 will grab a spot in the West, Edmonton, Dallas, LA or Anaheim?

My guesses...
1) New Jersey - easier schedule 2) Philly - should be close, but I think Philly will win the conference 3) Colorado - too much of a lead 4) Pitt - tough schedule but I think they can pull it out 5) Edmonton - too far ahead Dallas - of course ;D LA - easier schedule

1) Hoping for Toronto so they can take a couple games from Colorado, but I think NJ will do it. They've been red hot lately. 2) Will be close, but I'm picking Philly because they are the better team. 3) Unless Colorado shits the bed in the last four games its theirs. Those two losses to Edmonton, a team that we need to beat, took away almost all hope. 4) NYI should get in for the first time since season 1 5) Edmonton, Dallas and Anaheim
This season has been a disapointing one for the Sharks. I still think on paper we are better than the Hawks, but the chemistry just hasn't been there.
I thought Selanne would peg over 90 points and Thornton over 100. Shanahan barely reached 20 goals. Kariya and Sillinger were the only forwards that reached expectations.
Kaberle was a huge disapointment. He started off horribly. Lately he has been better. Phaneuf didn't provide the offense needed from him either.
Goaltending issues for the first quarter of a season really hurt.
We have had three streaks where we would go 1-5 or 1-6. That inconsistency cost us the division and maybe the conference.

There are some huge games today for teams in both Conferences, for the final playoff spots. Buffalo at NYI- Biggest game of the season for the Isles and IMO a must win NYR at Pitts. - A Pitts. win and Isles loss and Pitts. is in. Phoenix at Dallas - Dallas needs any points he can get to hold the Ducks at bay. Edmonton at Anaheim- The Ducks can ill afford to lose this one, can tie Dallas for the last spot with a win and a Dallas loss Good Luck to all 4 of you.
